I have just had broadband installed and the modem needs to connect to my computer via an ethernet lead. The trouble is I do not have an ethernet connection on my computer. Is there a way I can connect in other ways?

Presently, I am reading Noam Chomsky’s book Profit Over People Neoliberalism and the Global Order which is a critique of our political and economic system. While I first heard the term neoliberalism more than a decade ago on short-wave radio, the term is not heard often in the mainstream media even today. It is as if this word, containing the middle string of characters, "liberal", is to be shunned and shied away from by those who profusely profess neoliberalism. Yet, the perpetrators of prejudice toward the word liberal have become their own victims to this latest name calling since they themselves are the neoliberals. It is the conservative US Capitalists who have trained the country to denigrate the L-world thereby having to distance themselves from the word itself. And who said that words are not powerful remakers and reshapers of the world we see or want to be seen?

Neoliberalism is the process by which the free enterprise system and its "democracy" are touted around the world as the only successful model for the world to emulate, while ignoring its enormous failures domestically and internation-ally. The "free market" philosophy is professed to be the only viable economic system on the planet yet those professing it are beneficiaries of anything but the free market. They receive incredible tax breaks and perks subsidized by the people struggling to make a decent living. "Free enterprise" institutions are excellent examples of non-democratic power structuring. Conservatives for the most part are neoliberals benefiting the most from government subsidies to corporations through moneys collected from the poorest in society and diverted upward to the top.

Why do different weather channels disagree so much. The difference in temperatures each day can vary by 10c.
Weather is worked out by scientific data. If they can get it so wrong some days why should we believe the data on global warming. If their calculations vary to that extent how can they make a valued judgement.

I finally got squirrels out of my hanging feeder but now I have a new problem. What I believe to be Mourning Doves fly to my feeder and just sit in it feasting on the seeds. The dove will clean out the entire feeder in about 30 minutes and I can't afford to feed them too! How can I keep them out but still attract the Cardinals, Wrens, Chickadees, etc. that I want?

I have a Boss GT8 FX pedal a Fender and a Gibson. Is there any way I can find out the ways I need to tweak the pedal in order to get signature sounds. For example say I wanted to get a Joe Satriani sound or a Greenday sound.. like the sound in the song When I Come Around.
Is there a website or somewhere I can go to get tips? This freakin pedal has about 20 pre-amps and 20 overdrives and I dont know where to begin. I have a sound grasp of reverb and delay. Thanks.

we come across grave on the road side. i am told these graves are the resting place for the person killed in an accident. many a time i have witnessed hindu fundadalists making the grave an issue. they are themselves are violators with SHANI, HANUMAN, SHIVA etc mandirs made overnight encroaching the busy roads. my question to one and all can these practice be stopped for the better.

From what I have heard it is legal to unrestrict a moped as long as you don't exceed 30mph, is this true?

Is it illegal to ride a 49cc moped with a 70cc bore kit at 16 with a provisional license?
