Those which live in the city of Sodom. They were utterly destroyed because they gave themselves over to fornication and strange flesh.

This isn't in the Bible, as its a gnostic text, but you might find the book Secret Mark to be fascinating. Of course Christians don't accept Apocryphal writings to be legitimate scriptures, but it's interesting to read anyway. Otherwise, the other Biblical references to gays and lesbians tend to be intolerant and homophobic. The third link I provided gives a discussion on Leviticus 18:22, the most well known scripture regarding homosexuality. The fourth link is a commentary on Leviticus 18:22 and what role, if any, if should play in modern society.

I think that a long time ago long before once apon a time there were no gays in our scriptures as we know today the very first gay was a normal young man locked up for a long period in prison with other men in the city of Sodom

Jesus was not gay. He was without sin and any sex outside of marriage between one man and one woman is sin.
As for those in Sodom, out of the whole city, God would have not destroyed Sodom if He would have found 10 righteous men out of the whole city, but the only one he found was Lot. Everyone else was given over to perversion.

Oh yea in the book of Kings, homosexuality is referred to...men couldn't go through a certain town without packs of brutal thugs raping the unsuspecting males. They were all eventually wiped out...

As for gays being portrayed in a positive light in the book? No. There were not.

Yeah. There were a ton of them in Sodom and Gomorrah. And when the men came to the house where the angels were staying to try to "know" them, they were struck with blindness.

Later, Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed.

Dr Rollan McCleary of the University of Queensland was recently awarded his PhD for proving that Jesus and at least three of his disciples were gay.

So yes.

Is this a problem?

Jonathan and David possibly had a love affair. Saul didn't approve of that it seems, but then Saul didn't approve of a lot of things.

edit: and nobody knows exactly why Sodom was destroyed. They did a lot more than being gay.
