I bought a betta last night from wal mart that had been beaten up by Oscars (long story). Anyway, I'm trying to rescue him. He has no fins. I have him in a 1 gallon bowl with aquarium salt added. My question is this. He's on his side alot. I know it has to do with the fact that he doesn't really have any fins but I think there is something else going on. He has a somewhat bloated belly and I have noticed that when he goes to the bottom of the bowl, he can't stay there. He floats right back up to the top. What would cause this and how would I fix it? Don't lecture me about keeping a betta in a bowl. I just want to get him well first before I invest in a bigger set up. If he lives, he'll get a nice tank with filtration and a heater. I promise.

I have been with my boyfriend for about 2 months, and he still hasn't kissed me. He has never kissed a girl before and I think he is nervous but I can't wait around forever!
I think he feels under pressure because I have kissed somebody before and he hasn't, he says he wants to but we never have any physical contact with each other.
I could never break up with him over this, I like him 2 much!!!
We have hugged & held-hands, but thats about it. Please help me out im 14 (don't bother saying i'm 2 young for a relationship, and I should enjoy life because this is what I want to do at the moment, kiss my boyfriend. Is that 2 much to ask?)
Please help me out, I need to know ur opinion!

My boyfriend is a rapper/MC/lyricist and he writes a lot of positive and conscious things in his music. I want to create a radio station/TV station/ Magazine/ or Record label that only features positive and conscious hip-hop music like Common, Wyclef Jean, Nas, Talib Kaleli, Alicia Keys, India Arie, etc, etc. I'm 16 years old and I think that Hip-ho pand rap music today is very horrible and it lost its message. I'm trying to find a cure for hip-hops illness.

Okay more here's some more details. God didn't have to create the perfect humans, but he sure didn't have to create humans with the capacity and potential for hate and anger. If he was omniscient and can see ahead he would have known his creation would be doomed to cause suffering and pain amongst themselves.

Sure humans can be given free will. But as a creator, god could easily have had a blue print which made humans without the capacity for these negative characteristics. It just doesn't make sense for a loving god to plant these defective and destructive characteristics into his creations.

You say humans with free will would have found out about these anyways right? But I disagree. If you believe in a creator that is all powerful, then something as fundamental as this could not have been overlooked.

My wedding is outdoors....so since I don't want to have my heels "sinking" into the ground NOR do I want to have a heel catch on a grassy patch and trip me up, I'd like to find a nice pair of white wedge heels.

Everything I find looks like a "beach" or "summer" shoe w/the brown/straw/hemp heel.
Anyone know where I can find some cute/dressy wedge heels?
(And also that won't cost MORE than my dress?)

i thought there was something wrong with my harddisk, so then i bought a new one (SEAGATE 160GB), then connect it to my motherboard n power supply. BUT the same thing happened. i tried to use the power supply wire to connect my DVD player, and the DVD player can work properly. so now i dunno what is wrong with my pc. can anyone help me to figure it out ?

THIS IS LONG,SORRY.
So I have an 11 month old daughter and I still cant get her to sleep in her crib!. I know it is our fault for not having her sleep in there months ago, but she never slept well in there (she woke up every hour not able to go back to sleep) so for my convenience Ive had her sleeping in her bouncy chair the whole time. The problem is shes getting too big for the chair now,(its almost touching the floor) and we would like to have some privacy. We tried to put her in the crib for 3 nights in a row. The first night she slept for 6 hours straight, which I thought was great, the second night she slept for about 2 hours shraight and I tried for 3 hours to get her to get back to sleep and she screamed like Ive never heard before, and the third night she wouldnt sleep in it at all and she was pretty much hyperventalating she was crying so hard. she seems like shes petrified of the crib now and I dont know what to do now. Please someone help me figure this out. thanks!

Okay. I am a sophmore in Highschool. I'm not horribly over weight, maybe 10 15 pounds, but I'm not to happy to see that it's startign to show. But I'm very busy. I am an active member in my schools Show Choir, I'll be starting wrk in the fall, I babysit often, I go on trips, I have to take care of the animals at my house, do chores, the works.
I need a way that I can burn off some of the fat that is beginning to show and build muscle in its place that I can do without it getting in the way of my schedule.

Any ideas?

I am in the process of writing an article for one of my summer courses and I am trying to find a place to start research. Which do you prefer? Restaurant or a home cooked meal? What's your fav home cooked food, and favorite at a restaurant? For myself, nothing beats a good home cooked meal. Steaks, or hamburgers are better at home...you can prepare them as you like, for burgers you can make 'em as big & greasy as you want !! ... Restaurants are good for their atmosphere, and when you wanna relax and not worry about cooking. I like authentic Italian or German food when eating out.
