Okay. I am a sophmore in Highschool. I'm not horribly over weight, maybe 10 15 pounds, but I'm not to happy to see that it's startign to show. But I'm very busy. I am an active member in my schools Show Choir, I'll be starting wrk in the fall, I babysit often, I go on trips, I have to take care of the animals at my house, do chores, the works.
I need a way that I can burn off some of the fat that is beginning to show and build muscle in its place that I can do without it getting in the way of my schedule.

Any ideas?

1. Always eat Breakfast- you'll need the energy to get you through the day and you'll eat less at lunch
2. Drink lots of water
3. Cut back on the coffee, drink tea or water instead
4. Walk everywhere
5. Take the stairs instead of the elevator
6. Eat lots of fruits and vegetable
7. Eat small meals and snack through the day
8. Take 30 minutes to stretch and work out
9. Do something you enjoy so it won't feel like exercising. IE. dance around your room
10. Go for a bike ride, a run, a swim, etc

These small things will help make a difference on how you feel and look. Good Luck!

This may not initially sound feasible but give it some consideration.

Whenever possible try riding a bicycle to some of your activities. Plan ahead and allow a little bit more time to travel by bicycle to some of your shorter commutes. This will provide more than one benefit.

1. It will increase your fitness level.
2. You will save money on fuel.
3. I think this is the best thing....It gives you a chance to slow down, take some time to de-stress from your otherwise hectic schedule.

When you babysit, do things with the kids - like go play ball or tag or something, if they're old enough. When you go on trips, walk around the hotel or whereever you're staying - if there's a gym, even better.
