If you had no knowledge of any religon at all and someone just came up to you telling you there's Gods, Goddesses, Angels, etc. how would you react?
How can you believe in something when there is no proof? That is the only reason why I am hesitate to believe in any religon I do not understand why you can believe in something that you do not know for sure is real but actual evidence. Then again a thousand years ago we had no knowledge of how to make a tv so perhaps in the next thousand years there will be proof of something. Afterall everything in the universe goes together so remarkably well I know there must be a force that permits it to be this way but how? How do you know if your God is real or what? And don't give me passages from religious texts please I am sick of that. You were not there when it was written how do you know for sure that some evil guy wrote it?

ok, i guess my dad thinks im gonna be some sex star cause one night, we were eating king crab legs. and i said that it is fun to bite the claw then suck the meat and juices out. and my parents friend said that all my friends (that are guys) are gonna bring me home saying "look at what she can DO!!!!" and then another time, i was sitting on the couch and he said blow the candles out. they were in a row. like tallest to shortest. so the couch is 2ft away from the candles, and i stayed where i was on the couch and blew them out with one blow. my dad looked like he was about to cry and looked at my mom and she started laughing. or, ill be standing somewhere and ill bend backwards and touch the floor with my hands. i think hes scared for my "saftey". is that kind of stuff that,...i dont know...is does taht really give him reason to think that? imean im 14, and i have lotsa guy friends that i go and talk to regulary and spend lotsa time with

Here is the thing, my hubby is the one that does the punishing, my hubby is in the army and leaves sometimes for a year, well, he is gone at this time and i swear, my kids no they can walk all over me, they don't listen, they argue, backtalk, it's out of control, i hate to spank them, time out doesn't seem to work becasue after the time out they just go back to the bad behavior...i've taken things away.....they don't seem to care, any suggestions on how i can get them to mind and behave?...thanks.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but WAR sometimes is the answer. Without armies fighting wars there would be anarchy. Nobody has found a way to replace the modern nation state with an army prepared to defend her sovereignty. The military is the preeminent legal authority upon which all of our institutions and laws are founded. Perhaps Posse Comitatus has confused you into believing you don't need a military? Let me know.

my really close friend asked my if she was prettier than her sister. she wasnt, so i told her her sis was prettier(she asked me to be brutally honest and spare her feelings). thenn she asked me what i'd give her on a scale of 1-10. i told her a 4.5. (she told me to be BRYTALLY honest!!!!!). i was 100% honest, and now i dont think she likes me very much. she told me to be brutally honest and spare her feelings, and i did exactly that, but she doesnt like it. we're super close friends, but did she want me to lie but pretend im telling the truth? cuz i would've wanted someone i could trust to give me good advice and honesty, no matter how much it hurt. did i do the right thing, or was i too blunt? i did tell her i think shes very pretty. and now she's giving me the "cold shoulder." what'd i do wrong?

i was in partial hospitazlation for cutting, taking a few to many pills, ect. i was there for about 2 weeks, and requested to go because i didnt want to be tehre anymore. so i was discharged. yet prior to going, i hadnt cut that much just i kept thinking of not so good things. but since i left my behaviors have worsened and i dont know if i should tell my therapist that because i dont know if i will even up going back there. i know i should probably get help, but i dont want my mother to be apart of it and know all this again. should i tell my therapiast this and ask if i should go back? because she even told me she thinks i should have stayed longer. but im not sure i want to. any suggestions

How easy is it to cancel a membership to Ancestry.com? I'm interested in a 14 day free trial they're offering. They want my credit card number and say I can cancel at any time, but I know some of these places make that VERY difficult. Has anyone ever canceled an Ancestry.com account and if so, how difficult/easy was it? Also, do the amount of records they have available make it worth the cost?

I mean if you got a tan by going to the beach. and can you lose that tan and get your natural skin color after couple days.
