when did we receive the INVITATION?

The moment destiny breathe on us inside our mother's womb we are called to a rite. You can be brought up in a God fearing or atheist family, we are all tended to grow as upright as we should be. We as human beings always strive to be the best as we can be, either as one of divine creation or a product of chance & nature.
what i call heaven is to serve the highest purpose in our short lives- it can be limited, but the heritage we leave for generations to come is limitless. so let's make them all worthwhile... we are all invited to greatness. Heaven is not a place we should be all preparing for, it's the good we do to our fellow beings, the act of sharing....these are the heavens you create on earth while you're still alive.
it's the pure intention, it's the good action.
not the prize you get afterwards.

Enki...Look around, even if there was a Heaven would it still be around! It must have been shut down when no one is likely to go in there those days!! Sorry, if you actually want an invitation well we should stop day dreaming about heaven; it's a fantasy world by which we keep our hopes up but the most important thing here is to be the best person you can be without expecting any reward....invitation or no invitation! Why not build yourself a heaven on earth instead of thinking of a heaven you don't know for sure the existence of?
Anyway...good question and Thank you :-)

"... MANY .......are called, but FEW are chosen ......." Nowhere does anybody's Scripture or Holy Writings give ANY indication that ALL people/EVERYBODY will be saved and go to what we conceptualize as heaven ....... God knew before the foundation of the world who would be, and who would NOT be saved ... because He gave us all Free Will, which includes the Right to be WRONG, and many people will exercise that Right ..... Remember that He said, "... I Would/wish That None Be Lost ..." He KNEW that a lot of people will make the wrong choice, but He cannot interfere with it, because then it would not be, Free Will ....... This is a subject that will take more exploration and discussion and reasoning(Respectfully) to answer than we have room for here on Yayhoo Answers ....... Regardless, each person is entitled to his own feelings and opinions, whether any of the rest of us think he is right or wrong, and we must all respect others' Right to Be and Think differently from us .......

Yes we're all invited even though we all may not end up at the same place. Heaven is different for all of us. Like Nicholas Cage says in City of Angels "You've deffinitly been beeped." I was invited the minute I came into this world. We are in heven, because heaven is what you make it. :-)

I believe that the moment we were all born is the effectual invitation, but we must be willing to live within the constraints of our hearts and live while using them in all we say and do.
This way we know that we are acting as our Creator would want for us to, as if it does not feel good to the heart, then it can not be right. Love everyone and everything with all of the regard you would want to be held in, and that includes our earth and environment, and we have the key to heaven.
But I also believe that Creator is not the mean and judgemental entity which organized religion portrays.. Creator is divinely loving and immensely forgiving.
Blessings and love,
Sassy

We sure are .Pagans got their invitations early so they could prepare for their journey .Unfortunately a lot have declined their invitations stating they have more important things to do on Earth.Others have lost or misplaced theirs but they can still get a duplicate by request.

Your 'ideal of heaven' brought you here. The question is, NOW how do you like the way you feel? You're either in heaven or hell. If you don't like what you're experiencing, make a better choice until your ideal life is realized.

its like a birthday party we all hear about but only a few people got invited and those who didnt are not 'cool' enough. LOL We should crash it. The really cool party though is in Hell.

i guess we are just obliged to go..its not an invitation..its an order..we are born to grow, be good, and go to heaven..
we are all supposed to go..some will go sooner and some later..depending on your spiritual level...
i dont think id say yes if i was invited...
