I've only been there for 3 months. I've heard you have to be there for at least 6 months in order to receive severence pay. Is this true and since there has been rumors that we're going to close down next month, should I just quit and find something else?

This question is inspired by the fact that at LEAST once a day, someone comes on here wondering if religious people should be banned from teaching their children about their religion. So since SOME atheists seem to think it's okay to tell religious people how to raise their children, is it okay for religious people to do the same? No?
I know this is kind of more of a statement than a question, but I really am tired of people trying to say that children shouldn't be taught their parents' religion. *I* don't feel it's ANYONE'S business what a parent teaches their child, so long as they're taught the difference between right and wrong, and they're not abused. If atheists want to raise their children as atheists, that's THEIR business, isn't it?
Should parents have to not express their opinions at ALL for fear that their children MIGHT, oh heaven FORBID, turn out like them? Does anyone else see how stupid this idea is?

One day God was looking down at earth and saw all of the rascally behavior that was going on. So he called one of his angels to go to earth for a time. When the angel returned, he told God, "Yes, it is bad on Earth; 95% are misbehaving and only 5% are not."

God thought for a moment and said, "Maybe I had better send down another angel to get a second opinion."

So God called another angel and sent him to earth for a time, too. When the angel returned he went to God and said, "Yes, it's true. The earth is in decline; 95% are misbehaving, but 5% are being good."

God was not pleased. So he decided to email the 5% who were good, because He wanted to encourage them, give them a little something to help them keep going.

Hey I'm 17 (I know some people say you still have time to grow but I haven't grown for many years) I am only an A cup and have been thinking about plastic surgery (for when I'm around 20 or doing well financially) to enhance them to a B or C cup just so hopefully I could get more confidence as in my family with 2 sisters who are a D cup and B cup and my mum is a H cup I am the only flatchested one. I don't want really big boobs just normal sized boobs. I have done the research on the risks which is why I'm asking for other people's opinions.

I was at one where the cake just collapse- still tastes the same though :) Another were a bride dress got stood on by a drunk uncle and ripped the whole section of tulle off!! (She is able to laugh about it now). Another one where a bride toss the bouquet like a football and took down her 10 year old cousin getting a soda at the bar.

Will it really be more traumatic/harmful to do it at 7/8 months?
With paying for summer camp, my finances are already stretched, but should I just find a way to do it now, or can I wait another month or 6 weeks without causing my puppy harm? please, no "if you can't afford to take proper care of the puppy, you shouldn't have her" responses.

I'm going to high school this year and want to lose some weight. About half of the girls in my grade are real skinney and only a few overweight girls, which includes me. I weight 160-164 because it goes up and down thourgh the day. I keep thinking that i don't hear about alot of African Americans that are anorexic. I went on some websites for i can become one, and i got some help. I have been drinking watere only for the past 12 hours trying not to eat fatty foods. People say you will gain the weight back over time but as long as i know i loose about 10 pounds i would be happy. I have been exercising and i only see a diffrence in my thighs but i need help on my belly. And i think thats way im mit become anorexic.

I kinda got into a big fight with my mom and i love animals and my mom took them and put them outside, hamster and bunny. I have a little shed but it smells in there and there are no windows. i feel really bad for them and try to talk my mom out of it but then she and i got really mad, i kinda talked back to her and she got even more mad and i'm really worried about their health. Also, if i can ever see them in the house my bunny can't poop everywhere so i need to potty train it, but how? please help me!!

i asked for a basin of ice filled with cold water for my partner to dip washrags in for my face and forehead, it saved him alot of walking back and forth to the bathroom to bring back not so very cold rags!

what would you do if you lived below a couple with a 3 year old and the mothers boy friend yells at the little girl all the time and also swears at her.
just this morning he told her to shut the f*** up and stop your f***ing crying. after this i heard a loud noise like something heavy dropped i know the grandmother she use to be the landlord of the complex i live in. the landlord we have now is the girls aunt.
i am about ready to go to my landlord and let them i know i belive that he is hitting the girl the last i knew he was not living there anymore but just this morning i heard him yelling at the little girl again.

We have been married for the past 10 years and have a son of 8 years. She reacts strongly even to my minor kiddings. She keeps mum for days together. My pleading to her as to what bothers her elicits no reply. I couldn't recollect any incidence in which I have done anything to hurt her feelings. She looks to be medically OK. I even told her not to worry about any past happenings as I love her from deep of my heart but somehow feels helpless to turn her around. There are no financial issues involved and we are reasonably placed. Due to this there is an air of tightness at our home. I am at fix as how to get back the warmth of our earlier days. Any suggestion?

My son's gf lies about everything. her age, color of her eyes (she wears contact lens) they've been togehter for 3 yrs, & he never met any of her family. She uses him like there's no tomorrow and he believes her. Last summer they broke up and got back toghether again and this time she won't sleep with him cause all of the sudden now she doesn't believe in sex before mrrg. Her eyes are brown and she wears green cont lens and when my son aks why her eyes are sometimes brown, she says that the color of her eyes are green but since guys bother her alot, she wears brown cont lens so they leave her alone, my son buys it. It looks like that my son is in denial and would like to still hang on or cling on to her don't know why. she lied about her age (5yrs older) my son is 24. pls tell what to do to make him see through her? i have to mention that he's so protective of her and even thinking of marrying her in the future. she goes on trips without him and give these excuses why she has to go

I have just read a question on here which was on about her dog coughing up like phlegm.. well our dogs doing that and has persisted off and on for months we have took him to the vets three times and shes given him antibiotics which have helped for a brief while but its come back.. ive now resulted to keeping his bedding to a minimum and an air purifer on as someone said it could be an allergy and hes not coughing as much but still a bit, he is an husky and hes shedding hair which dosent help - the vet said its like doggy colds he has .. some one mentioned benylin cough mixture does that help?? any ideas
