you cant give this question an answer out of historical sciences because history is whatever has been recorded from past and our ancestors at the time of adam n eve didnt have the means of writing and the knowledge, moreover the proper papers were not still invented those days, there are some theories after finding out the remaining of skulls and skeletons of early human beings that people who spreaded on the earth came originally from Cibery in Russia around 7000 years a.d because of the cold and shotage of cattles, and natural life sources in their motherland. they were huge white skinned people with a language which has been demolished, but after separading in asia and europe and the pass of time, they changed according to the geographical varieties of their respective lands.these people are called arians who are residing in germany, italy, some parts of eastern europe and turky, iran and india, those who migrated to europe they become fare and colored eyed, those who came towards india became darker...
u can answer by relying on religious knowledge from Bible that at Genisis they where all the same people, there was no diffrence of ethnicity, language..., but at the babillion tower where all people of the world had gathered, God changed their languages and their ethnics so that they would form diffrent nations with diffrent cultural and ethnical qualities.
u cant clearly say really how adam and eve looked like! it has not been clered yet.. there are the theories of nindertal humanbeings, who were leaving thousands years before christ, there are some researchers who believe humanbeing has upgraded from monkey to his today face and therefore our ancestors were monkey faced humans (darvin theory)
its a very various matter and u cant unite all of the theories o get to one conclusion. the matter is just to know that we are all from one origin.. no matter of the diffrences of language, colors, and cultures, we are from same ancestors and should try to love each other and respect one another and put racisicm aside...

The latest research into the origins of the Human Race [Homo Sapiens] points directly to Africa.
Apparently we all come from Africa originally, even those of us who are white - our ancestors anyway. We are talking about many thousands of years ago.
Okay, so if Africa is the focus for the home-land of humans, then my guess is that Adam & Eve were black.
The oldest human remains found in Britain date back about 800,000 years. Were these people Black? We'll just never know. Since their time we've probably had a few ice ages which wiped out most of the evidence.
The oldest burial dates back to about 35,000. But as I've already said, we had at least one more ice age after that, which ended about 12,000 years ago.
From about 10,000 years ago, the modern or native Brits began arriving. These folk are best described as a mixed bag of Stone Age and Bonze Age Celts.
Their present day descendants are living in Cornwall and Wales. The latest DNA research being carried out by Oxford University is telling the researchers that the people of Cornwall and Wales have been in Britain for about 10,000 years.
For the very heart, soul and roots of the human race, we must go back to Africa.
Next time you look at an African person, see if you can see what I see. The entire human race in one face including often the almond eyes most usually associated with Asia, China, Japan etc.
In simple terms, we are all members of the same race, but also all members of different tribes and nations.

The others are right in that modern humans can all be traced back to a single female (known as Eve) in Africa. She was probably black. Her descendants were more adaptable than others and bred a lot and they spread out, giving her genes to other groups through natural selection.
Remember the adaptability factor? As humans spread into lands where sunlight was more limited, their skin color lightened so it could generate more Vitamin D from the available sunlight. In the middle east, it stopped at a specific point because that was the optimum level of Vitamin D generation. In northern Europe, skin color got even lighter because less skin could be exposed and less skin had to do more work.
Oh, the adaptability also extended to alternate factors. The Inuit or Eskimos could not expose a lot of skin to sunlight to get Vitamin D so they found alternative sources for the vitamin in their diet--and they adapted to use less of it.
The strengths of humanity that God gave us are adaptability and the ability to pass on what we learn. Our children do not start out from scratch in each generation like puppies or cubs, but are nurtured and taught more with each succeeding generation.

The Discovery Channel's special "The Real Eve" proves that every single human on earth can trace their ancestry back to one woman who lived about 150,000 years ago.
The human population at the time had dwindled down to less than 5000 individuals on the entire planet. I believe this is the woman the Bible talks about.
While European painters from the middle ages on have typically pictured her as white (like themselves) she was probably a dark skinned Arabic type.
Watch the special. Very informative.

well since they were created in Eden, and that is where the Persian Gulf is now, probably Semitic, similar to an Arab
Eden was situated at the junction of the Hiddekel (also known as Tigris), Euphrates, Pishon and Gihon. the first two are well known rivers and the later two lost. However recent surveys and satellite imagery have show two other rivers a bit south of the junction of the Tigris and Euphrates, currently under the red sea and dried up elsewhere, the four would have joined under what is now the gulf

If the first two people were both male, it would make the bible even more absurd. God didn't write the bible, men wrote the bible, and it was all politically correct for the day. With Adam and Eve we are all a bunch or inbreds as it is, but with Adam and Steve, umm yeah, unless Steve had a womb, which negates the gay rights activists point.

Assuming that the Garden of Eden was 'between the two rivers' . that's between the Tigris and the Euphrates, then they were what we would call 'Middle Eastern' in colour. Definitely not white or black. You can't really place the first two people on earth in an ethnic group, but tracing back I suppose they were Semites.

Adam & Eve were invented by Moses, a Hebrew, so they were Hebrew, obviously. Hebrews were ancestors of Jews, who are dark of skin, hair and eyes but not African, of course. Adam and Eve did not exist. Racial differences are adaptions to different climates. Asians (Mongoloids) evolved in and adapted to arctic regions. The extra tissue arond the eyes insulate them from cold, as does the thick straight hair. They have more bodyfat than other races and can survive on meager diets that would starve other races, for food is scarce in the arctic areas. They tend to have long torsos and short limbs, since big pipes hold heat better than small ones. Africans (Negroids) are from the tropics and have features opposite to Asians, e.g. short torsoes and long limbs, low bodyfat, kinky hair, etc. They also have strong melanin pigment in the skin to protect from strong sunlight. Their perspiration glands are more active than other races to help cool them. Europeans (Caucasoids) evolved in a temperate zone and have features between the extremes of Asians and Africans.

Since you asked in history, I'll give you history, rather than religion. From a purely scientific point of view, they were likely African, and were quite dark. Current paleontology suggests there have been several migrations out of Africa over the past couple hundred thousand years. Some went northwest to Europe, didn't need as much protection from the sun, and gradually developed lighter skin tones. Some others went northeast and ended up in Asia, with lighter skin tones, but with other genetic traits that changed their appearance to be somehow more advantageous in their environment.

I'm sorry but I have to fundamentally disagree with the premise of your question. It can be scientifically proven that mankind evolved over a long period of time. It cannot be proven that whole human race came from just 2 people! Religion provides 'easy' answers to difficult questions.
