Dogs get asthma too, I would either get a second opinion (if your current vet hasn't approached the possibility of allergies or asthma) or have a consultation with your vet about it. The antibiotics probably help because chronic cough causes inflammation, which usually attracts secondary infection. Many dogs with asthma are allergic to something in their environment, which can be approached several ways - eliminate the allergens, treat the dog with antihistimines, or corticosteroids.

Corticosteroids are a LAST RESORT, they have a long-term harmful effect on the liver. Antihistimines usually work well, but the very best thing you can do is discover the source of the allergen and eliminate it.

I have a lab mix allergic to life. She weighs in at almost 45 pounds. She too was on antibiotics. So my vet has put her on a home easy cheap remedy that works for us. She is on 2 benadryls a day. 2 in the morning and 2 in the night and she does great. It is according to her weight. She is a shedder and has seasonal allergies but if I keep her regular on the benadryl it really does the trick. You can get these at Walmart for like $1.96, for the pills. I put them in peanut butter or oreo cookie cream to get her to take them. They don't react the same way humans do when taking the antihistamine. So I would try that for awhile. I am not sure on the weight of your dog so check on that. But for me it is really something that works for my little girl. I haven't gotten the other things that you have done but I am very clean and also own 3 other dogs as well and vacuum a lot. Another thing that helps is when you vacuum turn your air off to fan it helps reduce the particles in the air for allergy suffers. I hope I have helped.

Depending on where you live it could be a variety of things. Does not sound like your vet has found the cause or your dog wouldn't be coughing still. Ask your vet for a lung x-ray. My area is known for blastomycosis--a fungal lung infection--highly cureable when caught early. How has her appetite been? Water intake? Any thing that seems 'off' (no matter how minor or unrelated it may seem) should be reported to your vet to make an accurate diagnosis.
