In addition to being rather dense and a proven incompetent, he is also an Apocalypt: one of those folks who believes that the End of the World is soon. This may mean that he'll do whatever he can to move the process along, making it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Why not? He actually thinks God talks to him personally! (The Loony Bins are full of people whom God talks to.) Bush is on the record as saying that God told him to invade Iraq!

To make it worse, his opposite number in Iran, Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, is an Apocalypt too. He's waiting for the return of the Islamic Messiah, the Mahdi. The two of them could inadvertently cooperate in pushing us into World War III. By their thinking, increasing the level of chaos in the world will force the hand of their respective Messiahs.

But both are wrong. No one's coming. No one will clean up the mess we make. Gee, wouldn't it be better not to make a mess at all? To have policy made by someone playing with all his marbles?

when i sleep on my back my girlfriend tells me i stop breathing. she then wakes me up. this was first noticed when i was taken to the emergency room & was hooked up to monitors. they gave me pain medicine which put me to sleep. i was on my back. alarms would go off & a nurse would come in & wake me up. she said i stopped breathing. what would be causeing this? i am not sure if it does it all the time. can i die if i am alone & i stop breathing?

I have been trying to track my ovulation by my cm, this month after 6mt ttc i finally went out and got an ovulation kit to help. The second day i tested i got a strong surge so me and my DH had sex. The next day i still had a high surge the day after that it was an equal color the two lines, we had sex the next day and there was no surge what so ever, so i though ok i ovulated had sex i should be good this month, i was felling really excited until i decided to take another test two days later to show my hubby kinda what to look for and what not, just missing around will i had a surge again!!!! So now i'm really confused, does anyone have any idea whats going on? and believe me im not reading the test wrong ive checked so many times ive dream about that stupid thing, someone please help! This is the last month for me after that its up to god this is to stressful for me lol.

I had a dream last night and me and my band we're doing our firt show. everybody shoved wires through their hearts (in the crowd) and everything was a mess. plus a person I fired was up there with me. please someone tell me what this mean!

I want to fill an alcove (1.8m wide) with wooden shelves (I'm thinking oak or pine, at least 3cm thick, but perhaps they'd need to be thicker?) It's an old house - the side wall and fireplace on either side of the alcove aren't straight, so I can't do the baton thing that DIY sites seem to favour. I'm assuming I'll have to drill into the wall and the shelves, put metal bolts into the wall and slide the shelves on. But how do you stop the shelves sliding off the metal bolts? For a gap this wide, how many bolts per shelf would I need? Also, how far into the wall would I need to drill to make the shelf sturdy enough to take a large number of books (the wall is stone). And where can you buy the metal bolts? Any tips / advice welcome

well i was work today, well it was my last day of work because i'm being transferred across the another branch across the town. . there has been this girl that i have always liked and every so often i got the feeling she liked me. i took this book in with me to get signed by my colleagues. before she came in i asked her friend to sign it and others. later her friend and her was walking behind me and i over heard her friend say, i'll ask him for ya. then her friend calls my name and says that the one i like wants to sign my book. so i let her and she gives me an email adress and a phone number. her friend turns around to me and says "even a number, woooooo."so do you think this girl likes me and what should i do next.

I have a Dell Inspiron B120 Laptop. Well I regret buying this piece of junk because its been nothing but problems.

Now what it does is whenever I plug a USB device into the side ports. I shuts off immediately. When you turn it back on after about 10 seconds (because it wont let you turn it immediately back on) it says that you exceeded the power limits and the system had to shutdown.

Seriously the only thing I plugged in was a USB mouse. How much energy can an infrared LED take? All the USB ports on the laptop do this. It was working just fine just yesterday! And no it is no longer under warranty.

Ok here is the deal... I fell in love with my GF...we got married behind everybody's back and told my parents about it last night... They flipped out.... Tonight going to the house to discuss it with them... I am IN LOVE with her and do antyhing for her...
