Who else sneezes when they first go outside on a sunny day?

I always do. It's NOT allergies, just sneeze twice when i 1st go in the sun then i'm done. My dad & brother also do it-my mom says we are weird. My boss also does it as well. We all have blue eyes, think that has anything to do with it?

It's called the photic sneeze reflex. It's a defined entity and about 20% of the population have this. It is actually triggered by the optic nerve and the pupils trying to get as small as possible but gets kind of criss-crossed in the brain and produces a sneeze.

This is the first I've heard of brown eyed people sneezing in the sunlight. I always thought it a blue/grey eye thing.

My first wife and her father invariably sneezed at least twice every time they went into bright sunlight from insider or deep shade.

I agree with your mom. I've never heard of people doing that. I would guess its allergies but you said it wasnt and i dont think havin blue eyes has anything to do with it.

My husband does the exact samething and he has brown eyes so the eye color has nothing to do with it. I have no clue why it happens but 2 of my three kids also do it.

i do it sometimes as well, and i have blue eyes........ this has nothing to do with the fact that you are weird...thats a whole different discussion

no i do it too, and my eyes are brown. It's just photosensitivity
