How to stop address bar of any folder to access internet?

When i enter the website to the address bar of any folder like my documents. I can automatically access the internet.
I would like to stop it.. please help...

You could try Tools > Options > Advanced > and select the "do not search from the address bar" choice. The computer, being stupid as most computers are, might think you are trying to look for web sites titled "My Documents".

Thats a feature of XP. Dont think it can be turned off. Just dont type in a web address in a folder address bar. Or unplug the internet connection from the computer.
