I am on all of the following for treatment of depression:

Lexapro
Risperdal (0.5 mg) - I'm taking this because it is supposed to augment the anti-depressant.
Provigil (200 mg) - Again, this is supposed to augment the anti-depressant. It gives me energy and keeps me from sleeping all day. It is actually an anti-narcoleptic.

I have become almost convinced that my depression is actually partially CAUSED by all this medication.

I've been on anti-depressants for YEARS (since I was about 16 or 17 - I'm now 32). I've been on almost every type you can think of.

I want off of this stuff!

How do you safely stop?

Please serious and thoughtful answers only. I mean if you are a liberal try to understnad a conservstive in the best possible light fo ra moment and tell me what you think defines them. If it still comes out negative and that is what you honestly think well ok, but I do not intend for this to be a trashing or insulting opportunity.
I am a independent conservative Christian. I just want to understand better how liberals see themselves and others. But please give succinct and specific summaries.

What is the most significant difference between the two groups and are liberals able to sympathise with any of conservative concerns or see any truth in their views?
