Yesterday, I was riding the bus, and I noticed this handsome guy kindof looking at me. I thought wouldn't it be great if we began talking, and kind of laughed at the thought of hooking up on the bus. To my surprise, he got off the same stop as I did and started speaking to me. He told me that he got off the bus just to speak to me and we had a lil conversation for a few blocks until I had to turn and go to my homegirl's house. He then asked if he could call me, I gave him my number. As we parted, I kind of heard him say something about calling me, but I couldn't hear when exactly he would. I wished I did a lot of things when I met him, such as get his number, but I was much too stunned. It is Sunday night I have not heard from him since, I met him Saturday afternoon. My question(s): What is usually a good time to call someone you spontaneously met? Is this normal? When should I give up if he still does not call? (I Can't stop thinking about him! It's almost like I imagined him!)

You can!
1. Think about how much you spend on gifts (birthdays, christmas, father's / mother's day) every year. What's the $ amount?

2. Did you know?
- Over 17000 children die every day because she or he is hungry.
For 19c you can feed a hungry child in school for a day.
- Over 1100 people die of measles every day.
For $1 you can buy a measles vaccine.
- About 3000 peope die of malaria - a mosquito bite - every day.
For $2 you can buy the most effective malaria treatments for one person.
- 300mln people suffer severe health problems and often die of worms.
For 20c you can buy a full course of deworming drugs.
- 77 mln people have no access to secondary education until 4th grade.
For $15 you can put a child through school for a year (tuition, books, 1 meal / day).

3. Do you donate?

At a price of a movie ticket, a haircut, manicure, a candy bar, you can save and transform lives. It's a bargain of a lifetime. What are you waiting for?

My mother is an athiest. She brought me up to think for myself about religion, philosophy and the cosmos. I feel lucky to have been raised in such an open-minded environment. Although I started out "denying the existence of God" as a child, my willingness and openness to seek answers from everywhere and anywhere has led me to become the person I call myself today: A free thinker. I understand the purpose of God. I understand why people feel it is important to bring God into their lives, and share their experience with others. But I often wonder how much of what they believe is truly THEIR belief, or more the influence of others while they were young and impressionable.

If you were raised in a religious environment, do you believe you had a choice in what you believed? Do you feel you were at all "coerced" by parents, friends, mentors or siblings? Did you ever seek answers from unbiased sources?

I've never believed in coincidences, I know everything happens for a reason. I moved to Or. from So. Ca. 13 years ago, met someone, got married, and then was left homeless by him 8 years later, only feeling numb inside. I never believed in re marriage and couldn't even picture it in my head. Then, while visiting some group web sites, I noticed that one of the group members had put me in his "favorites" catagory. I brushed it off and went on chatting with my friends. Bare in mind, these are annonymous web sites and I never mentioned where I went to church or anything. 3 months into a new church I was attending, this guy sits next to me and I recognize him pretty quick from the web site. He later told me that he'd noticed me every Sun, but I never noticed him. Then I found out that his sis is married to my 1st gr. bf and they live in my hometown a couple blocks from where I grew up and my parents still are in Ca. I have been in love with him for a year now, but he doesn't feel the same
