No it isn't okay to do that. Yes she should have told you there was a problem and at least given you both a chance to work on it. She is very selfish and totally wrong.

Cheating is never the answer, and especially to end the relationship when children are involved.
She should have been honest, and told you, before she decided to leave you. However, the fact is she didn't, and you shouldn't hold on to anger/resentment because of it.
Don't hold on to past resentments or what should have been, instead hold on to the positive memories, and your children are all that matters now. You need to go on, and find new friends, you will know when you are ready to meet someone new. Don't let hate and angry thoughts consume you, this just poisons your heart. Negative thinking also, stops us from moving forward to better things. Getting over a divorce is never easy, and it takes people different times to move on. However, you deserve to be happy, and you are worth of finding someone that appreciates you. Good luck.

She should have DEFINATELY told you if she was not happy with your marriage. Sometimes people do fall out of love with one another but she owed it to you as your wife to at least get a divorce before she went off with some other man. And she owed it to the kids too. Sorry that happened.

No its probably not normal but unfortunately the way it goes! People make mistakes and usually they will regret things that happen in relationships if they ruin it for a little fun.. or if they were too weak to hang around n at least try and fix the problem before they leave...

Cheating is not ok. If there were problems, she should've told you and you could've got counseling together to resolve the issue.
