He is very talented and provided the world with a lot of entertainment when he was younger. It is sad what has happened to him in his personal life.

I wouldn't say that he was the best singer,his voice is unique,but there are a lot of singers who have more command and control of there vocals than he does.
That being said,I do believe he is one of the best performing artists to ever grace the stage! As a singer/song writer his talent and creativity seem endless,and the stories and images that he weaves for his music are phenomenal!
p.s. to all other answerer's who insist on commenting on his unfortunate personal problems,there are many artists who have scandals,and questionable behavior in there personal lives,and yet have wonderful talent,and we enjoy there music, movies,and literature,the question was about thoughts on his talent,not weather or not you like him as a person!

i think he was great back when he was younger and in the jackson 5. i love ABC 123 and thriller too. they're on my ipod :] other than that, i dont know most of his songs.

I was in love with him when I was a kid (the 80's)...so I'm still a huge fan. Despite all the...drama, his old stuff is really really good!

He is awesome, and has a very unique sound quality to his voice that is unmatched. No one will ever be bigger than him, and he is a genius talent. So I guess that means yes?

some did back in 84 now hes a side show freak that likes kids.
as for his music some songs are ok most suck.
