Yesterday, I was riding the bus, and I noticed this handsome guy kindof looking at me. I thought wouldn't it be great if we began talking, and kind of laughed at the thought of hooking up on the bus. To my surprise, he got off the same stop as I did and started speaking to me. He told me that he got off the bus just to speak to me and we had a lil conversation for a few blocks until I had to turn and go to my homegirl's house. He then asked if he could call me, I gave him my number. As we parted, I kind of heard him say something about calling me, but I couldn't hear when exactly he would. I wished I did a lot of things when I met him, such as get his number, but I was much too stunned. It is Sunday night I have not heard from him since, I met him Saturday afternoon. My question(s): What is usually a good time to call someone you spontaneously met? Is this normal? When should I give up if he still does not call? (I Can't stop thinking about him! It's almost like I imagined him!)

I usually allow a 12 to 24 hour gap before I make the first call. I would say allow him a week. Having you wait any longer than that I think is kind of weird.

Apparently you are waiting for her to call, however without knowing her it's tough to know what her intention is. She may very well be a very busy person. She could be involved or getting over someone. She may have trust issues. The fact that she gave you her cell # certainly does not say, "go away creep". Until then, keep yourself busy doing stuff you enjoy. If you're needy or smothering that will chase her away fast. (Not saying you are). You sound like a decent person, and if it's not her, someone out there is just right for you!

If I get a number I try to call the next day. I usually ask what the best time to call is and try to call during those times. Only once did i get a number and not call back, but there were unforeseen circumstances that I could not call for a week and then i was afraid she was so mad she wouldn't want to hear from me. A couple times the number has been lost. And more than a few times I stopped calling if she didn't answer her phone and failed to return mine.

there is actually no specific time that tells the usual good time to call a person you have just met along the way. think of the possible reasons why he still isnt calling you yet. One, he might have no load. two, he might have lost his cellphone or maybe it was snatched and he is still saving money to buy another. three, he might have amnesia and forgot about it. four, maybe he was busy. five, what if you gave him the wrong number? six, he is still waiting for the right time and still thinking of the right moves to make. or... seven, he might have met an accident on his way home and might have died. possible, right? but don't give up, it's good, you can make him as a source of inspiration. but don't just wait for him til you get old, hey, one day, you'll meet 'him' or someone better at the right place, at the right time.

He may have been busy this weekend. He did not plan to meet you, so his plans had already been made. He may call in a few days. Just be sure that he is not married, or that he does not have a steady girl. You never want to be the other woman..

Guys are really straightforward, so they will call you sooner or later. If he doesn't call you...well. This is actually normal for guys. Ladies, if I'm not mistaken, try to play a little hard to get. To be brief about it, if he calls he likes you. If he doesn't, then the idiot may have lost your number or he may not have the hots for you...
