I'm 21. For over a few years I have had problems with indigestion. Most of the time, it affects me on the left side of my chest and bothers my left arm. (It does not hurt, but it does bother it) For the longest time, I thought it was indigestion. But with the recent health of my grandmother, I'm beginning to wonder if I might heart issues instead. I'm eating better for the most part and have lost a lot of weight. I have tried to talk to my mother about this, but push the issue aside, claiming it's my breathing pattern (I breathe through my mouth mostly due to my allergies) and that I'm too young to have any problems with my heart. Anyway, does this sound like something serious?

My friend is twelve years old and she weighs about 82 pounds. Her parents are always on her case about her weight. She tells me that she doesn't look thin, and wants to lose more. Though, she is afraid that her parents will be scared and send her to a hospital. She looks very average and healthy. I don't know how to help her. Please Help!!!!

Right now, all my speakers are connected to my subwoofer, and I have to manually adjust the volume on the sub for all speakers. If I get a receiver, will I be able to adjust the volume for all the speakers with a remote control?

Here's and example:

A few nights ago she was in trouble and another friend and I went to help her. Later that night we were sitting on the patio talking. We started talking about something a bit off subject, when I joined in the conversation she starts mocking me and making fun of me in front of everyone.
While I am normally pretty witty, I was totally off-guard and didn't no how to respond so I just laughed.
She is the only person who does this repeatedly and it bothers me.
Is there a universal come-back that I can say to shut her up and make her feel stupid??
It is getting to the point where I pretty much avoid her ---but that really isn't my style, I like confrontations, I would really like to punch her in the face at times but violence isn't the answer.

Help please!!

Is white rock lake haunted? Because my friend told me that it is haunted, because she lives in mansion near by and she said that she heard some noises, like screams and cries.I do believe ghost but not that much,I know that it is not ture but still.Last year we went to white rock lake with my cousins,and we saw this big humegous mansion It had blue windows and we could see an showdow of a person,but that place was impossiable for person to live because there were chains around the house with construction cars.That house was really creapy.Is White Rock Lake really haunted.

My husband just quit a job to start another job, this is his second day and he already wants to quit. The new job is full-time at a higher wage, his old one was only part time at minimum wage. I work full-time, I'm about 8wks pregnant, we have debt we need to pay off....... We've already decided we are moving in 6 months and he would quit and find a new job regardless at that time. However he already wants to quit and I guess go back to his previous job. We could really use the extra income. Why can't he just stick it out? I know I would, no matter how much I hated it. Come on we are pregnant, what is he thinking? How can I convince him to open his eyes!

WASHINGTON — For just the second time in his presidency, President Bush will travel up to Capitol Hill today to meet with Republican senators at their weekly policy luncheon — a visit designed to underscore his commitment to legislation that is increasingly important to his legacy, particularly immigration reform.

In the days since the immigration overhaul ran aground in the Senate, the bill's proponents, including the president, have insisted that the measure is not dead. At the end of an eight-day trip to Europe, Bush urged Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) to take the bill up again as soon as possible.

"We made two steps forward on immigration; we took a step back," Bush said before leaving Sofia, Bulgaria, on Monday.

For his part, Reid sent a letter to Bush saying that he was glad to revive debate on the bill, but only if the president could deliver more Republican votes.

"We believe it will take stronger leadership by you to ensure that opponents of the bill do not block the path to final passage. Simply put, we need many more than seven Republicans to vote for cloture and final passage of this bill," Reid and other Democratic leaders said in the letter.

The stalled legislation was based on a fragile compromise between Republicans and Democrats: In return for offering a path to citizenship for many of the estimated 12 million people currently in the country illegally, future immigration visas would be targeted more at those with needed skills than at family members of those already here.

I am not one of those wiry guys with small hands and feet that can fit into any crack or grab any ledge. My hands and feet are huge and I find myself having difficulty with some of the holds that my friends have no problem using. I am still a beginner (i.e. no lead climbing yet), but I was very happy with myself when I did an average 5.11 last year. I probably would have difficulty doing it again though :-) Any tips?

I already have a dentist appointment, but trying to find out why I have a large swollen gum in my back teeth. I'm a hug popcorn eater and am thinking it might be a popcorn kernel that logged its way between my tooth and gum causing the large swelling. Does this sound accurate???

Have you ever been in a situation (the perpetrator or the victim) where racism was alleged wrongfully by someone from a minority. I am brown and one of my friends often brings up the issue at the slightest insult or innuendo by any white folk. Makes me think.

My husband and I are moving to Iowa in a year and would like to try to own a home for the first time. I noticed that there were many more condos available in our price range than single family houses. Even with the monthly association fees, they are either comparable or less expensive than a regular house.

We only plan to live in Iowa for 3-4 years. We are used to living in apartments and thought it would be wise to buy a place so we'd be able to recooperate some of the money instead of renting a place and never seeing that money again. Even if we sold for a loss, we would still get SOME money when we left, isn't that correct? However, I would like some advice on this. Are there huge drawbacks to selling a place (a condo especially) after only a few years? I'm afraid I know next to nothing about real estate and could really use some advice.
