Right now, all my speakers are connected to my subwoofer, and I have to manually adjust the volume on the sub for all speakers. If I get a receiver, will I be able to adjust the volume for all the speakers with a remote control?

Hi. Almost certainly. And most allow you to set the levels for each to obtain the correct balance.

Good luck on programming the dish remote, after many attempts, I gave up No volume control on box, you have to use the remote Try a Harmony remote and maybe you can get by with only one remote. Harmony is expensive

If you were to get a receiver and connect your speakers to it most receivers have where you can adjust the volume for rear, front , and or center channel making it a lot easier
