Use Jig-A-Loo for this, you should avoid spraying it on the stock/forend/butt of the gun since that will probably make the gun very hard to handle and shoulder. They sell it at most Wal-Mart/Home Depot stores or online at www.jigaloo.com

Since the piston can be classified as an air tool, I suppose air tool oil would work.
It may be more expensive than gun oil.

Use a synthetic instead. It lasts longer with less mess. They have the kind just like wd40 applicator, goes right where you want it, not where you don't.
