As I type this, I'm watching the House Session of the Oregon State legislature from earlier today (don't ask me why). Most of the bills they're voting on are passing unanimously, or almost unanimously, and they're doing it fast, too.

Obviously, state legislatures are smaller than the national Congress, but why do you honestly think that Congress takes so long to do their job (I'm speaking about every Congress, not just the current one). Should Congress expand and start working 4 days a week? How about 5 days a week?

What should Congress do to agree more, and work faster? No ideas will be denied (unless it calls for outlawing all other political parties.)

Last nite after work, I was tired and on my 25 mile trip home, so I stopped by an Arby's drive up to get a quick meal and go home. I arrived at the drive up and gave my order and then handed the clerk my discover card. He handed it back after about 30 seconds then I waited and I waited and I waited in the drive up. He stuck his head out of the window and said it would be "1 more minute" because the cheese sticks I ordered had to be cooked fresh and they were almost up. Then I waited and waited and waited, finally he stuck his head back out the drive thru window and asked me to pull foreward because the roast beef was "just coming up" and I waited and waited and waited. I swear I am not kidding when I went into that drive up the sun was up, by the time I was aggrivated enough to walk into the restaraunt, the sun had gone down and I ran all the gas out of my old truck. How do I get to the manager above this store?

Do you think Paris deserves to go back to jail after being released to home confinement... I dont think she deserves 45 days.. I know someone who got the same charge she did and he was in jail for 2 days... I dont think she deserves it for that long... But she will probably learn her lesson!!!!

I have just taken my internet connection off my laptop and added it to a new pc. i am now sharing the connection through a router,The problem is i cant seem to watch videos proberly.On Youtube they load and play for a minute then stop and dont load fully.I also cant use my yahoo messenager with it.Is there any way to fix this problem ?

I was put on 60mg of prednisone (steroids) for three days, for an accidental chlorine inhalation, however because of the severe heartburn, I took two yesterday and am supposed to take one today (doctors suggestion). My question/fear is I have been reading that stopping steroids can cause real problems. Please let me know if anyone else has been on steroids for a short time and if they had any physical symptoms stopping them. I read that it can even cause death. P.S. I SUFFER FROM PANIC ATTACKS, SO I AM NERVOUS ENOUGH ANYWAY :)

I know it's weird he has a low sex drive. But like I said, he has always been this way. This is not new. I suppose I could withhold sex, but it seems so stupid to play games. I just want to be myself and when I want him, I want him. But I guess I have to hold out for him to come to me. This is so ridiculous. I cannot tell him I know about this secret email account yet, so I can't contact this girl he sent his pics to. I just know that there should be no secrets, and if he was not trying to hide anything, he would have told me, or at least emailed him from his regular email account. My husband usually gets up about 30 minutes before I do every morning and very early, when I get up he is already on the computer. During the week when he works he does the same thing and immediately when he gets home from work around 3 p.m. he is back on the computer. I am retired now on a disability pension and we have discussed several time that I feel left out or like the elephant in the room. He assures me angryly of course that he will change his computer habits but they neve do. Even if I suggest watching a movie together or something like having an evening he still manages to play on his computer at the same time. If I have asked for conversation he says he has nothing to talk about, therefore justifying his computer habits. He'll say, "you talk then if you got something to say."
I believe we have a serious problem and he see's what I see as a problem as me being crazy. Does anyone else experience this as a problem. We only got married 6 months ago and are 60 years old.
