Last nite after work, I was tired and on my 25 mile trip home, so I stopped by an Arby's drive up to get a quick meal and go home. I arrived at the drive up and gave my order and then handed the clerk my discover card. He handed it back after about 30 seconds then I waited and I waited and I waited in the drive up. He stuck his head out of the window and said it would be "1 more minute" because the cheese sticks I ordered had to be cooked fresh and they were almost up. Then I waited and waited and waited, finally he stuck his head back out the drive thru window and asked me to pull foreward because the roast beef was "just coming up" and I waited and waited and waited. I swear I am not kidding when I went into that drive up the sun was up, by the time I was aggrivated enough to walk into the restaraunt, the sun had gone down and I ran all the gas out of my old truck. How do I get to the manager above this store?

I was the only car in the drive up and when I finally left, there were 2 cars in parking spaces waiting for their food.
The manager was screaming at me and gave me back the money I spent on the food. I went to a restaraunt down the street and got my food and left within about 2 minutes.

If you really want something done; go inside the restaraunt and look for those "comment cards". The card should have an address or something so that you could actually write a formal letter to the Arby's Headquarters expressing your experience. You will need to write your letter very professionally and not attackful eventhough your experience was awful. You can probably also find the Arby's main address online just be sure to write down which store you were at. Be sure to give as many details as you can but don't overdue it either. Let them know you usually love to go to Arby's but aren't sure you would visit there or recommnend the place in the future. Politely suggest that they check on your favorite store.

My mother did quality assurance for years in the hotel business and had to deal with issues such as these there. Good luck.

okay for one you had a cow beacause they were going to give you fresh food and you had to wait? Would you have rather had nasty old food and left right away? Arby's doesn't get ALOT of customers so I am sure they probably cook they food fresh alot. Why have old food just sitting around waiting to get cold? And if your that distraught I would call the store and ask for the store owners # or the general managers #

Is there a number in the phone book for Arby's Home Office? If so you can call there and give your complaint. I get that kind of service at Wendy's... well I used too, they aren't lucky enough to get my business anymore...

I worked at Taco Bell for about a year (while I was in High School) and we had a number on the side of our cups for complaints. Although, most of the time complaints do nothing at all.....

You would call Arby's and ask to talk to the manager. Have you ever called 411? Call that number and they will hook you up with Arby's. Sorry you had to wait so long it's called fast food for a reason lol. It was slow food that day.

Having had a similar problem, with a local Burger King, I'd suggest that you track down the corporate headquarters, and write them, explaining what happened. It took about two weeks to get a response, but I received a phone call from the regional representative, and he sent me coupons for free food. I used these in a different BK, later.

Call the number on your receipt. I always save my receipts in case there is a problem. (I also like to keep them to add up how much a year I spend on fast food!)

PS Arby's sucks!

The local store manager handles complaints and if that don't resolve it the regional manager should be able to handle it.
