Need help with a Crystler new yorker sysytem?

i put a cd player in and the factory speakers to work and i looked in the trunk and there is a big infinaty amp mounted on the side of the trunk how do i get it to turn on so i can have the factory speakers and can i hook up other speakers to it to make it sound better

To turn on a factory Infinity amplifier, you have to locate the amp activation wire in the factory plug and connect it to the blue/white remote output on your new deck. The factory amp turn-on wire is usually either dark green with a red stripe, or light green. If you're using an adapter harness, it matches up to the power antenna connection; it's located at one end of the black factory plug.

If you're replacing the factory speakers, your best option is to bypass the factory amp and connect the speakers directly to the new deck.

you need to turn on the amp to work with the new radio by hooking up the remote turn on wire from the new radio to the factory amp turn on wire
