I know we could spend weeks and weeks or even years in LA and still not see everything worth seeing - but does anyone have any suggestions on what my boyfriend and I might see during a 4-hour layover at LAX if we take a cab or something? Any ideas on fair fares would be appreciated too. (Of course the 4 hours includes getting back to the airport and through security. . .) So . . Hollywood sign? A ride down Santa Monica Blvd/Sunset? I'd just like him to see a little something of LA before we leave. Thanks.

I thought it was painful. Morbidly obese black people shoving fried chicken down their throats, speaking ebonics, and being mean to each other.
Is this really entertainment? Is this a positive portrayal of African-Americans? Why is it okay? Because Tyler Perry, the show's creator is black?

I have Recently passed my test and i had bought my car yesterday which i pick up monday so i dont have the log book or anything like that yet, is there any way i can insure an tax the car now so when i pick up the car monday i will have all the nesecery documents to drive straight away?? and one more thing when i get the log book what do i do with it?? i know i come across dumb but i really have no idea!! all advice would be appreciated

My chihuahua had epilepsy had I had to leave her behind with my mother when I moved to the UK, I didn't want to but I knew she was safe and well taken care of. Last month I returned to the US for my wedding and the day after I arrived my dog suddenly died. I was so crushed and all week I had to stuff everything down and pretend I was happy and smile for the camera. No one understood how hurt I was and kept getting angry at me for not wanting to go out and have fun.
Now that I've come back to the UK I've been extremely depressed over my dog. I missed her a lot before and now I'm beyond lonely. I can't even look at other people chihuahuas because I get so depressed. Every time I see my mother inlaws dog I think why couldn't he just have died, no one but her likes him anyways... and then I feel even worse for thinking that.
I was just wondering how other people dealt with their pets dieing and any advise that'll help.

I work at the HR dept.of a bank's back office where about 1500 people are employed.Recently they appointed me to verify employee's details and confirm whether details are accurate or forged. I found some of them were forged and about 350 people were sacked coz of my work.
I personally escorted most of them out of this high security office and I could see the frustration on their faces. Anyway it gave me big thrills and it made me a hero in this workplace.
One night I fired a 48 year old guy. After that i spoke about that guy with my lady partner who's very pretty.She regretted that old guy's plight but congratulated me. After that,since we're alone inside the tiny cubicle,we became very close and had sex which was very intense....and later she told me that she had never had such good sex in years. I think even i didn't have such good sex in my life.May be it could be the heroic feeling that i have after sending bad guys home?Still i enjoy with her big time!!!!

whats a good rope to use for boat winch? my boat is aluminum, about 450-600lbs, 14 foot.
i have a nylon&polyurethane rope (3/8inch thick) i just bought and i was hoping that would be sufficient. thanks!

i can handle the vile moods and the manic states. But the constant perving at other women the exegerations, he pretends that he has seen other women to make me jeolous, and he is starting to put me down a lot. I have to write an essay about the Importance of Christianity.
I was thinking to write about the Church's contribution to education in society (did they open schools for kids to teach them to read/write, or was this only a "lux" for those who chosed to become priests?), their influence in politics (if they decided whatever in internal-external affairs in a country), social helps (did they open hospitals? help poor families? or did they help people in any way to improve their life?) etc.
I'm sure that since the Church has been proclaimed official in 313 in Rome they've influenced in many ways the society.

So I would like to ask you if you know some good links to sites that contain useful information to answer the questions above.

With Bob Barker retiring wouldn't it be justifiable to just end the show as well? The same would go for Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy if Pat Sajak or Alex Trebek were to leave. Those three shows would not be the same.

Why do I care you ask? Because its 730am and I am at work. What else do I have to do? (rhetorical LOL)
