I've always had a particular fondness for "stuff". Anyway, I have to spend all my time during the week at work doing "things". The "stuff" is my choice.

I'm from the "things" generation. I don't think I'll ever say, "Little stuff means a lot" or "Stuff ain't what it used to be." And can you imagine Julie Andrews singing, "These are a few of my favourite stuff"?
