marriage I came to know that my husband had an affair with a girl for nearly 4 /5 yrs i felt really cheated but he said that it his dead past and he doesnt want to even talk or remember of it he told me nobody knew abt it except him and his friends but few days before i heard abt his affair from one of his cousin i felt why does he lie to me .I also got curious about knowing the kind of girl he fell in love with I asked him abt this and he told me that he was never intensly involved with this gril and he was the one to say no to her as he was interested in his career I felt a bit relieved to knw tht i was the first person he fell in love with and he was not serious abt tht girl when i told him this he said tht i should not make conclusions on his past reationship and should stick to the fact tht it has ended i told him how does it harm him if i do make conclusions and it gives me peace he said tht if i take it this way i will raise the isssue again and again and he wants to finish it

ok i know this sounds weird but my 23 yr old uncle
split up with his 22yr old girlfriend they have a 4yr old child. his girlfriend used to take me everywhere but they split last yr and now she barely talks to me! i miss her so much that i cry! she only lives round the corner from me! what should i do?

From reading I have done, it seems that a the time of Jesus, Jewish culture considered marriage not merely as something to be honoured but considered it a sacred duty. The voluntary renunciation of marriage was a conception quite foreign to Judaism. Even in such heterodox, ascetic groups as the Essenes or Qumran community, sexual abstinence was partial and did not exclude marriage before joining or in the early stage of membership. As for ordinary Judaism, the father of a family considered it an important part of his parental role to arrange a suitable marriage for his sons and daughters at a comparatively early age. The fact that the Bible never makes a point of Jesus' lack of wife almost invariably prove he had one? Wouldn't for it to not to be mentioned at all, when not being married would have been an anomaly, be bizzare?

Why is the idea that Jesus may have been married so abhorrent to many Christians?

It says Summit 8. So I am sure it is supposed to mean "8 great countries in the world. Maybe when this Summit was first held, they were the greatest 8 counties, But do they still the greatest? Who defined, decided and picked the greatest eight? You know, the billboard hit chart they change the top ten songs depend of their sells and profitability. This question is primarily directed toward Christians, but please, anybody, feel free to answer.

The number one problem I have with religion (Christianity) is that it is a requirement for someone to believe in something to go to heaven.

Honestly, how can that be a standard? How can one be punished for what they believe? What I'm saying here is that maybe there are those out there that appreciate your values and even share them, but they cannot bring themselves to believe that Jesus was the son of god, that he was born of a virgin, that two people populated the entire planet, etc..

If I asked you to believe something that you didn't, could you? You could say, "okay Alex, I believe" but would you? Is believing really an option? Does anyone choose to believe one thing over another or is it within themselves they find what they believe? Is your intuition an option? Are feelings optional? Is skepticism optional? How can I accept Christ if I don't believe in him? Could anyone?

I have a few couples who are married but they are open to other sexual activities, at one time i thought that its ussually the hubby pressures the women into it, but its not the case with 2 of the couple`s i know, it was the women who initiate it, so i guess my opinion just went dont the drain about the hubby pressuring, is it a product of the modern lifestyle ? is it because women are more liberated in their sex life, or is it becuase marriage is getting more and more of just a institution for making babies ? hmmm wonder if real love exists anymore or ppl just becoming an item just outta lust ? oh well,times is changing i suppose, in some ways i need to change myself too,just to protect myself i guess,anyway its just a curiousity question,,,dont burn me for this question, its a reality and it is happening, and if someone from this kind of relationship is around then i would love to know whats your opinion and the pro`s and con`s of it,

Well to me this is wrong, her *** should still be sitting in jail, if that was anyone of us do u honestly think we would be home now getting food flowers and so on Hell no! I mean we now know all the risks of it. Not only can it give it you skin cancer, but it makes you UGLY. My aunt has been tanning since she was in her early teens and she is only 35 years old, but she honestly looks like she is 60. She looks like an old, leathery shoe. Do girls (and some guys) understand that this is what they will look like? Plus, doesnt it gross you out that the sun is literally FRYING your skin, a delicate, vital organ? Tanning is not cool, it is gross. Plus it looks really stupid when a person with beautiful milky white skin just goes and fries it to a crisp. It is not attractive. If you MUST tan, then get a fake tan!
