nope.. i keep questioning it. I think it is sad what has happened and I hope that she gets found. The thing I don't understand is why so many other people lose their children in the world and they don't get so much media attention. I have a feeling it's a bit image oriented. It's all good for the family to get the media assistance they can get but I just feel other families who are suffering from the same fate are not getting that much help.

If the parents weren't all caucasian and from a lower socio-economic class would they receive the same level of exposure? I don't know why but I just wonder if there would be so much community spirit if that was the case.

No, these parents should face charges but the police wouldn't do anything until she is found. it is sad that in this day and age that people still don't care about there kids and only care about what they want. You think they could have afforded a babysitter. To Maddy, God is watching over you....

If I left my son locked in my running car (with the AC on) to run into a convenience store to buy milk it would be all over the news and he would be taken away from us and I would be in jail but they are having their hands held around the world.

We haven't been out to dinner since our son was born 2 1/2 yrs ago because we live far from family and because we are responsible and these people are selfish and don't deserve the children that they have. I don't care what country you are in there are sick people every where and you should always practice "better safe than sorry with your children".

I guess I needed to vent.
