I have two jobs coming up, and I want to know what the reasonable charge is. In a of couple days, I'm babysitting a 2-month old baby and and 1 1/2 year old girl. There hasn't been any talk of how much the parents are willing to pay, and as they are good family friends, I don't want to overcharge or seem greedy. What is a reasonable price that I should ask for?

The second job is in about a month, and I'm going to be baby-sitting a fairly large group of kids (not siblings), ranging from 2 months to seven years old. The parents are offering me $50, and I am wondering if that is a fair amount to be paid, considering how many kids I'm going to be watching for at least three hours. And, as it is a church group for married couples (I'm watching their kids), I'm liable to taxation on whatever amount I get, because I have to fill out a certain form from the church. That's a lesser concern. I just need to know the reasonable prices for each of these situations and why.

What i mean is if you pay the max the court ordered(child support,daycare,and medical expensives) plus have joint custody 50% do u pay for extra things like sports fees,toys/clothes for your ex's house ect?My husbands ex will have thier son call and ask his dad to pay for these things and he allways does.Now money is very tight for us and his ex is not hard up.Now i'm not an evil stepmom(i love my stepson) and my hus is not a dead beat dad i just feel these things should come from the child support money my hus is allready paying her.i feel his ex is taking advantage of my husbands love for his son as this happens often.Should i just let this go?I have tryed to talk to him about it but he just get defensive.

My friendand her husband bought a house last year and the monthly payment was high but they were told to refinance it to a lower payment in a year when they built equity.

Well, they never built equity and their savings is gone because they used money from savings every month to make their house payment even though they are both working.

So next month and every month after they will be short $600/month on their house payment. They cut back on their spending, but they still can't make the high payments.

What options do they have?

Sell it? Rent it out? Can they refinance for a 40 year loan?

Any ideas? If they sell it then they will take a loss since the market slowed down in their city.

I had an interview tuesday afternoon right? So they asked questions and i answered them the best i could.so they told me to go take a drug test the same day so in a couple days i can get hired and start orientation this weekend.So i did and now its thursday and still no call yet?? i hope they will hire me,its really close to my house like 2 blocks and i can always be there if they need me.u think they forgot about me or what? its been 2 days since the drug test.I know i passed the test i dont do drugs at all!

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and next week at my check-up my doctor is going to check my cervix. I really want an epidural and I'm so afraid that something is going to happen and when my water breaks I'm going to be too dialated to get an epidural .. how far along is too far along for an epidural?
Has anyone ever had their water break and at that point be too far along for an epidural?

I'am 18 years old and i'am gonna start college. My dad and my mom and my sister are moving to pakistan. My dad caught me smoking and he's like go live your life...and he' said ur gonna be out of here in two months. He said he gave me enuff chances. IN my opiinion...just cuz u smoke..ur there gonna kick you out? I have a 1985 Honda Knighthawk CB450SC and the carbs were removed and cleaned thouroughly jets everything and when I ride it it still loads up. Plus when you you put your hand on the carb while it's running it feels cold almost like it's vapor locked. Any suggestions?

Pretend I have a child who shows signs of violence. He always hits his sister. He gets into fights with the neighbors' kids. He tortures animals. He does it all.
One day my child wanders far from home & kills somebody in the next town. The people of this town question if I knew my child was like this. I say, "Yes, but the rest of my family are all nonviolent. It's just him; he is the bad one." My neighbors also explain they knew my child was like this, but they never asked me to do anything about it. They didn't like it, but for some reason they didn't try to stop it. My child's school teacher had even known about it but not tried to contact me about this problem.
The people in the next town then start accusing people from my town of promoting violence. Some even call us a violent group of people. But wait a minute; we're innocent. All the violence was caused by this one child --not by us!
Doesn't it seem like everyone who witnessed but said nothing shares responsibility?
