I just got a one-year-old golden retriver, he had no prior training and no papers, I also think he may have been abused...anyways, he knows sit, stay, and come(which we have been working on), but anytime the front door is open, he'll bolt and I have to chase after him with the leash, because he won't come back. Just last night my friends and I had a BBQ and I felt bad because I had to keep him on a short leash while all the little kids were running around, and our front yard isn't fenced yet. How can I get him to understand his boundaries and how far he can go, so he can be off a leash?

i am homeschooled now and I want to go back, but its a long story. See when I was in 7th grade I tried homeschooling as a idea and i didnt really think i would do it for long so I went back in 8th grade. I had a horrible time. Its not that i got picked on, its just I was left out of a lot of things beacuse people thought I was weird for homeschooling. I had trouble making freinds because a lot of them already made their cliques which were almost impossible to come into. so i went back to homeschooling and i have been since now, finishing 9th grade going into 10th. I dont know I just need some help becuase I am thinking of going back to a cathicloc high school for 10th grade, but I am a little hessitent because I dont want to have a horrible time like a did in 8th grade. And please dont say like u need to for social skills or whatever thats not what im asking.

Do you guys tend to stay away from shy girls? are you not interested in them at all, even just as friends, or would you talk to them but dont because she doesn't talk that much? I'm just wondering. Partially because I am shy, but not super shy. I do talk and I smile a lot to pretty much anyone I know. and if I don't know you then I try to at least start some conversation with you... it's just hard to keep it going since I don't know what to talk about... does that make sense? Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

i have been married for less than a year. i was told when we got married i would be able to get a diamond ring. well christmas came he didn't get it for me my birthday came i didn't even get a card, so today i went and bought my self one. i put in an acct with my parents address and if he asks i am gonna say i bought it from claires. i know this is bad but should i feel guilty. he never lets me spend on myself. i work a full time job plus part time on the weekends. i don't drink i don't smoke (he does both) and that cost money, what do all think?

Isn't alcohol just a legal drug? Other than the obvious answer of breaking the law; whats the difference? People die on ecstasy. People die on alcohol. Week in, week out people brawl and get aggressive on alcohol. Anyone who has been to a club where ecstasy is the norm knows that fighting and aggression just doesn't happen at these places. Am I wrong? Discuss.
