Okay, I'll help you.
There are a few directions, so listen carefully.
1 ) Look at the fan.
2 ) Look at the bottom of the fan.
3 ) Examine the bottom of the fan.
4 ) Make sure you are looking at the bottom of the fan, not under the fan.
5 ) Are you sure you're still looking in the right place? Make sure.
6 ) Make sure of yourself just one more time, I don't think you're listening correctly.
7 ) Okay, if you have found the right place, there should be a few switches.
8 ) They should have text on them. Make sure they have text on them.
9 ) It should say, high, medium, low.
10 ) Make sure it says high, medium and low.
11 ) Make sure again you are reading it right. Better to be safe or sorry. Put some contacts in or some glasses on and check.
12 ) Switch it to the LOW setting.
13 ) It should go much faster. Hey, it worked for me.
14 ) It doesn't work for you? Hey, I warned you to check what you're doing!

A faster going fan is not going to make you feel any cooler.
Instead, if you sweat and have a fast fan sending you its air, there is a danger of getting pleurisy.
Tell them to install air condition.

I am sorry you are hot, can you turn the speed up? or if you are at home take off some clothes, or jump into a cool shower, and then you will feel better when you come out, and leave your hair wet, as it dries it will wick the heat from your body.
