I think the '85 Bears would beat any of the above teams. Perhaps I'll go home and get my Madden game tonight and play the 85 Bears against those other teams. maybe have them all play each other in a round robin and see the better record. let the cpu play them out (cpu vs. cpu)

This is highly debatable. Everyone has an opinion here. Its going to be between The Cowboys of the 90s, Niners of the 80s, and the Bears of 85. Some will argue the Steel Curtain with Bradshaw at QB and even other the Patriots of recent times. My personal pick: Chicago Bears 1985 with Walter at RB and the killer 46 defense.

Sure, the Bears were awesome in 85, but I would have to agree with the '78 steelers.

The 94-95 Niners were dominant that year. Had three slip ups that season but the numbers they put up were awesome. That was the best team to see a Super Bowl. Even though I love my boys back in the 80's n early 90's.

Sorry but I gotta back my boys, the Pittsburgh Steelers! 4 Rings in 7 years in the 70's. If only we could've beaten the Chargers in the AFC Title game in 1994, maybe we would have 6 Super Bowl rings right now and the 49ers would only have 4. Guess we'll never know... damn you Neil O'Donnell & Tim "Burnt Toast" McKyer!! Seriously, I'm over it.

I'm a die-hard Steelers fan, but 49ers of the 80's were solid at every position all the way into the 90's.

2003-2004 Panthers. Even though we didn't win, Jake Delhomme came from nothing and got the 1st starting job of his pro career and took us to the Superbowl. And we would have beat the Pats if Kasey didn't kick the following kickoff out of bounds to give'em great field position for a Vinatieri FG.
