It can be any state in US or out of the country is nice too... any suggestions for a vacation of at least 4 days?

Portland, Maine. There's a wonderful art museum, great shops and all kinds of good things to eat. Of course, there's also the coastline and the beautiful scenery to photograph.

the super Ocean highway in Vic is notably surprising. not the Rockies, as far as scale is going, yet nonetheless proper. and you will easily get to Tasmania or Sydney on a decrease priced flight from Melbourne and notice different issues in Australia. i could bypass to the Rockies individually, yet then i'm Australian so i've got been to Melbourne plenty :o) And with the exchange fee against the pound on the 2nd, Australia is costly.
