No, you must pay around $7 to see your credit score. And you can't just figure it out. Lame, huh?

Unfortunately, you are allowed to get a free credit report every year under the law, but not the credit score.
You would have to buy the credit score from somebody... either one of the three major credit bureaus or a reseller.
The credit scores are derived by running the credit data through a scorecard model developed by either Fair Isaac (FICO Score) or another company. Therefore you are not going to be able to calculate it yourself.
I recommend:
1) When you go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp You can choose one credit bureau and they usually offer you to buy the score for around $8. Make sure you get the FICO score (or FICO Classic Score). This is the score that is used by most of the financial instituations. (Don't use experian.com, they only offer Vantage Score to consumers).
You will see lots of hype about the Vantage score... it is still being tested and very few banks or credit unions are using it as the primary scoring model. Don't get the wrong one!
You can also go to the website of the credit bureaus such as www.equifax.com or www.transunion.com, or one of their resellters like www.truecredit.com
2) You can also try to "estimate" your score by using Bankrate.com's at: http://bankrate.com/brm/fico/calc.asp?lpid=BKRATE29
Try it, it's free.

I use mycreditinform.com. It's $8.99 a month, but it tells you everything, including your credit score!!! Plus, they send you a new updated credit report every 3 months. This is good for your someone that likes to keep posted on their credit history.

See if there is a tab that you have to click. Sometimes the reporting bureaus put the information in different areas and you have to go hunting.

you have to order your score separately. It varies in cost, but is between $7-$10.
