Yesterday I asked the question what should I have written on my 21 yr old son's birthday cake and someone answered "Don't you think he's a bit too old for a birthday cake" well, you are never too old to feel special and I personally think it is great to buy a cake. What are your thoughts on this? His g/f agrees with the answerer... she was with me when I ordered his birthday cake... she is also upset I am letting him have friends over this weekend and cook out. What is wrong with that? I love making my kids feel special. I did not have birthday parties when I was younger at all.

I went out on a date with a guy I really like last week (we've been getting to know each other as friends since March). We had a great date, and a wonderful time. We clicked, we kissed, and he even said he might call me later that night. We did end up getting together later that night, and had a great second date. It included a lot of making out (I use the term liberally, since we did more than kiss). Two days later was date #3-- but this time, it struck me as strange that he didn't touch me or even kiss me until we said goodbye. It's been a week now and I haven't heard from him. I spoke to him online the other day; I asked him if he is no longer interested and he seemed confused and didn't know why I would assume that.

So what's up? From my perception, he seems to be gradually losing interest and just doesn't want to hurt my feelings. Am I reading too much into this?

Why are we all so p*ssed about this new immigration bill?

Is it because we want laws upheld, and lawbreakers punished, not rewarded?

Is it because were tired of paying the cost for freeloaders?

Or is it because we see they're getting away with all of it and if this bill passes into law then they are gonna have free run of the country?

Don't you ever wish you didn't have to pay taxes or healthcare insurance? Are you fed up with working your *ss off and getting nowhere? Wish someone else would pay for everything?

Even if this bill passes how many of them do you think are gonna line up to pay the $1,000 and fill out the paperwork to get what they are already getting for free?

Who should be more p*ssed, the average taxpaying, decent, just trying to "pay my bills and keep the law best as I can", American citizen or those who have waited in line, paid the fees (wish it was only $1,000) and submitted themselves to the whole (exhaustive) process legal immigrant?

Ive been dateing my girlfriend for about two years now, and I love her with all my heart. we havent taken the next step because she was going through a long and drawn out divorce and it just was finalized. we have 4 kids 3 from her marriage and 1 together I just got a promotion to relocate and she is still in school but they also have joint custody. she told me that she would go back to court and relocate but i dont know if that will happen. what should i do. and we dont spend a whole lot of time together but everything is good between us I just wish I had more of her time alone with us, should i let her go or stay with her

Don't you find it funny that Christians always mock Muslims and Jews just because they're not christians, while all these three come from the same origin (abraham)? Besides, Jesus was Jewish so wouldn't mocking Jews be mocking Jesus? As for muslims, they used to tolerate Christians until that pope someone pushed Christians to massacre the Muslims. So it's basically the Christian's fault that there is a distortion between Christians and Muslims.
