What does the phrase "The Genepool Needs A Lifeguard" mean?

I walked out for a smoke about 45 minutes ago and saw a bat just laying on the side walk. It seemed to have fallin from the tree or lost its grip on the roof. I looked at it closer and saw it had two baby bats attached to its underside. I grabed a paper plate and a broom and swept it up onto the plate and put it on the backyard table so the cats out front wouldnt mess with it. i went out there about 5 minutes ago and it was no where to be seen. I was just wondering if the bat with the young attached to its underside took flight or something.

Clearly most conservatives hate Hillary, basically because her name is Clinton. For whatever the reason, they seem to be rooting against her. However, recent polls have shown that head-to-head, Edwards has by far the biggest lead over the Republican candidates and Obama has a fairly significant lead, but Hillary only leads even Thompson and Romney by 3% (Edwards leads them by over 20%).

On the one hand, the Republican candidates have the best chance to beat her. On the other hand, if Hillary wins the Dem nomination, there's a good chance she'll become the next US president. So my question is, should Republicans be rooting for Hillary?

It's a bittersweet divorce, and I am still quite wounded and just finding my way. The divorce papers just arrived today, and I'm not sure what to do or how to feel. I feel lost. Any suggestions for coping for the next while?

In a free body diagram, a thrust force is projected to the right of the page at about a 45 degree angle.
A weight force (Fg) is projected downwards and is smaller than the thrust force. Therefore the Fnet is projected to the right at an angle.

If you can peg anything dealing with life on 'Pro-Life', can we peg everything that’s related to choice on 'Pro-Choice'? We could add on racism, prostitutes, pedophilia, clothes! Clothes would go over well! My God, then we'd really be FREE! Isn't that what you want!?

Oh, no, now you can't pick on conservatives with assault weapons because that’s their choice, and yup, you gotta release all those pedophile priests from prison because it's their choice to fondle little billy. Oh SNAP! He just called that black guy N***** on the radio! Too bad you can't fire him, it's his choice to say that.

Everything is a 'choice', that doesn't mean its a good idea! Me saying pedophilia should be a choice for each person to decide for themselves is just as stupid as you saying that abortion(killing innocent human life forms) should be a choice for each person to decide for themselves.

I was walking home from shopping and man, who I did not know, pulled up in a SUV and asked if I wanted a ride. Of course I said no and kept on walking. He then did a U-turn and left.

The area is a typical middle-class neighborhood without high crime, but this event was fairly creepy. In the future, should I try to avoid this part of town, or brush it off as a one time event?

over the last few days we in the UK have heard one of the cathoilic cardinals bleating on about abortion. Preaching to one and all that abortion is murder and a sin etc etc. abortion is killing innocent babies. well my question is, why do catholics on one hand say abortion is killing innocent babies but on the other hand say we are all born sinners?
bit of double standards? hypocricy? contradiction? or just plain old shite?

What are some great European tours that are guided by a tour guide?
We have never been to Europe and would love to go on a guided tour though EVERY country lol (which is not really possible lol (maybe)) and want to see EVERYTHING lol!!!

The tour should include common countries like:
France
Italy
England
Spain
Germany

AND some extras like:
Switzerland
Ireland
Greece (WOULD LOVE TO GO HERE!!!)

Maybe I am asking to much when I list all those contries but we have never been to Europe and when we go we want to experience everything lol ...What are some great European tour companies to look into and what are some great European tour packages to look into that offer all or most of those countries?

My 12 yr old White West Highland Terrier had to be put asleep for getting deadly sick maybe about a month ago, but I'm still so sad. We had her for so long and I think that's why I can't stop but think about her. Some people think "oh it's just a dog", but she was like a friend to me, and sometimes I think I can still hear her little feet clicking on the floor when I come home, and it drives me nuts! Is there anything I can do to foget about it? =(

i've gotten into debates with many religious ppl and they have said im wrong to think they way i do.....my belief is simply...IF there is a God i do not believe in him, like ok yea he's there but when i'm going thru tough times i pray to my father and a close friend that passed away an ask for them to give me a hand.... my deal is , AND IM NOT BASHIN ANY RELIGION!!!, its that i feel ppl that looked out for me an took care of me while they were alive still can from heaven (if such a place exists)......so how is it so wrong for me to say if there is a god i don't place my faith in him but in lost relatives? its kinda like saying your not my friend but i respect you

In my Sociology class we were talkin about races and stuff and my professor said that Caucasian people have a distinct advantage in every aspect of their life in the United States. She is a Caucasian herself and she said "Especially in the dating world and the nightlife"

My husband is a jealous man. When i am happy, he is ''scared'' i guess and tries to get me down. When i am down then he is happy. I am tired of this game. He is a jealous man and accuses me of adultry and calls me a flirt because i am a friendly and happy go lucky kind of woman. He feels threatened and is insecure and immature emotionally. I have been faithful and have loved him but i don't love him as a woman to man anymore..and i long to be loved by proper love. I will always love him as a person..in a familiar way..forever, but i can't be his wife any more. Am i correct to divorce him?
