I have just read a question that said that if a woman hits a man in the heat of an argument that she deserves to be put through a dry wall, and that if she punches a man she deserves to be floored...what kind of men/man would treat a woman like this?...and do you agree if a woman hits a man she should be floored?... no violence towards man or woman is right let me know your views about guys who think this way?

I believe in respecting women. They are NOT s*x objects. Casual flirting for fun is ok and men who want to floor women and stuff are not men at all. These men probably don't have the guts to bring it on with other men so they fight women. Men like that should be thown in jail.

I believe sometimes people lose it in the heat of the moment but that is no excuse for anyone hitting anyone. Whoever is the aggressor whether they be a man or woman should be the one in trouble. The other individual has the right to block the punch, slap or kick etc but in self defense and not for the purpose or excuse to act in an more aggressive or vicious measure. I would personally not hit a woman but if she means to be bodily harm or worse then I have the right to defend myself in whatever ethical way that is possible but not to the oint of causing injury or worse unless it is a final option.

It depends on the woman and man really. In my case my wife is 5'1 120, I am 6'1 300, would I be justified to hit her as hard as I can if she hit me? I don't think so because what can she really do to me? On the other hand could seriously hurt her so I would just walk away. No say I'm a 150 lbs man and a 170 lbs woman punches me, I would be an idiot not to defend myself. Just my opinion Bright Eyes.

Your'e right they really shouldn't be hitting each other, but I think if a woman is attacking her partner or other male he should defend himself because some women are pretty strong. Obviously not put her through a dry wall but restrain her or push her away.

No, i dont think its fair. But at the same time, women shouldn't be hitting men, just as much as men shouldn't be hitting women. So, women should only hit men if a man is about to kill or kidnap her, or worse. Men are much stronger then women, so how bad could it actually hurt the man? But it still is not fair.

Some guys show us the worse face of racism.
No human, male of female, should be degraded or "punished" this way. When in argument, people talk. And when disagreement is absolute, just walk away.
Violence is unacceptable in any way.

I think she has no right anymore than he does to act like an idiot. I am a woman and if i haul off and puch my husband I expect to get hit back. Don't pick fights you can't win.

one should never let the argument get so far as to use physical violence -- period. there was one time my wife left the house to blow off steam and I also left the house one other time to cool off. after walking off our anger we talked over the problem when we had calmed down. the argument wasn't fun but we both liked the making up. sure do miss her
