Why is it BAD for Michelle Obama to want to put a "career" aside to help the love of her life (and partner)run for President?

to let me get my tongue pierced? The only reason she doesn't want me to get one is because its "euuhhh so gross". So I think I can convince her.. I said to her something along the lines of, "Mom you just think that cuz you grew up when it WAS gross, but now its so common and I think its really cute". I also told her I just want it for me, not to impress anyone or fit in or anything. then she said she would think about it. Oh I also told her it was the least painful you can get.. she let me get my bellybutton pierced when I was 13, (now i'm 15) but she told me at the time that I couldn't get anymore piercings or anything til I"m 18. But recently I've been going through a lot and I"m not gonna be able to have a party or anything for my sweet 16 so I think she's coming around so that I can have SOMETHING eventful for my birthday. So I think its a convinceable thing, I'm just not sure what else I should say to do it. Oh and, does it hurt?

I was only suppose to be in charge of leasing apartments and things of that nature when I got hired. However now I do dispo's, evictions, numerous reports, p.o.'s, batchs and deposits, Balence due notices, lease violations, and much more. I've hinted at a raise and even asked but i get different responses, such as "well your still on training pay" (i have been working here over 3 months), Also that since I get a $60 bonus when i do a lease (& nothing for renewals), thats what im suppose to make my money from. I feel if thats the case then I need to make leaseing my priority. I only make $7/hour and when I dont want to do the managers duties I get attitude. I like my job, but the company I work for is known for not giving raises and my boss is pretty rude and very hard to work for, which makes $7/hour not worth it. Any Suggestions? Time to look for a new job?

I am tired of hearing about that, lets remeber, he has a doctorates degree and a masters degree, who cares what grades he got, he got his digrees. No one ever said you have to get strait A's to be president. bush has a good head on his shoulders and he's doing an awesome job. stop bringing up his GPA. get over it!

one week ago my wife and i got into a fight and we have two children a 3 and a half year old and a 4 month old. in the fight she started throwing things and cussing at me and basically freaking out. the next morning before i went to work i found a note apologizing for the actions taken the night before. when all of this commotion was going on my son the 3 1/2 year old was saying mommy is mad at you. now one week later i was watching a pixar short film with no spouses and no arguing in them but with the plot someone was angry and my son said "their mommy is going to be mad at the daddy". i expressed my concern with him saying this and my wife said "well i haven't done anything to you today to make him think that way so it's not my problem." i am going to post this question and let her review the responses so i would like some serious but not malicious responses so maybe she might see from my perspective or perhaps i could find some ways to better handle the situation. thanks all!

I'm in love with a teacher at my school. I'm positive that it's love, i've felt this way for 2 to 3 years now! My only question is, does she have any type of feelings for me in that way at all? Some of my friends think im crazy because im 14 and shes 26. A bottle was broken while he was weedeating and a small shard of the glass flew up and lodged in his calf. He says that he can feel it shifting when he's on his feet for long periods of times. He cleaned it out well but couldn't get to the glass to retrieve it. It doesn't seem to be infected but I have heard that it is possible for objects that have been lodged in the body and not removed to actually travel throughout the body causing worse damage later on. Should he go to the doctor and have it removed?
