no, when I was really young I saw my brother go to bring in his bike and lightning hit the pole. the noise, the light was terrifying. I thought my brother was dead for sure but fortunately he was not close enough. I lived in S FL AKA lightning ally hence the catastrophic experiences we had as children. so no I am afraid of them.

I LOVE thunderstorms. I love the way the way the lightning lights up the sky, I love the sound of the rumbling thunder. Even if it's not raining there is always that really good rain smell in the air. I love the way the clouds look, especially if there is some sun poking through and it makes the clouds orange, red, and purple. I also love thunderstorms because the power goes out. It's nice having that quiet time.

I always leave my window open just a crack at nights when there's a thunderstorm because I love the sound of the rain pounding the pavement, rolling thunder crashing like a cannon, and the lightning show that never ceases to amaze me.

There is something exciting about seeing a dark dark gray collection of clouds coming toward you. Knowing that you may witness the beauty of lightning and the power of thunder.

I do love them,,,they are exciting, noisy, multicolored and besides...I have a great grounded ray absorber lightening conductor..outside home.....so...because I am safe ( I am a selfish guy)...I enjoy seeing all storms and thunderbolts from the space I use as library....and I have grounded all my apparats, as to avoid any dangerous surge,,,,just in case a thunderbolt falls inthe nearby...
