My Christian friend is always preoccupied with gays.
He criticizes them all the time.
He talks about gays 24/7. He's obviously unaware that he does.I'm starting to think he's a closet gay right?

Nope. Because if he is bashing anyone he is not a practicing Christian no manner what he professes to be.
True Christians will love the individual but not approve of the act.
Is it possible that he is fighting with his own demons of sexual identity? Yep. Is there any way to help him. Not usually unless he considers you a friend beyond reproach. Then he may confied in you if you were to ask.

Maybe Im wrong... but I thought Christianity was supposed to be about acceptance and love even for people that you believe to be sinners.... whats that saying ...oh yes.... "Love the Sinner, Not the Sin."
There is a word for someone who claims to be a Christian, but sits around critizising others, and it's " Hypocrite."
A true Christian is not going to put someone down just because of their preferences, a true Christian loves everyone the same, no matter what.

No, but he possibly has some other hidden sin. People find it easy to criticize homosexuality because most people aren't tempted by it. But it is no worse than him having sex with some girl he's not married to. People point out others flaws to make themselves feel better. I'm not saying that's the case with your friend, I'm no judge of that. But no, I doubt he has any homosexual tendencies.

I think anyone who bashes gays have a little sugar in there tank but if u say he obsesses about them I believe he's very curious.

I think he is afraid of them or feels a repulsion. He may have learned his ideology from relatives or friends. He may have been approached by a family member or outside same sex person who caused his bashing. It is hard to tell.
Ask him what makes him feel that way.

well if he is bashing gays then he is going against christianity about not judging others, that only God will judge people, but he sounds as if he may be curious about it, i think you can be gay and be Christian myself anyways, as long as you beleive and love God why should it matter?

who cares? he is obviously so filled with hate, he will be first in line when satan claims his own. oh, and i wouldn't call him a christian, but a hypocrit. there are very few real christians, but plenty of hell-bound hypocrits who call themselves what they are not.

He might be if he is carrying on a fascination with homosexuals, I guess you can't not consider it. Have you tried confronting him about it?
