A man goes on a 2-month business trip to Europe and leaves his cat with his brother. Three days before his return he calls his brother.
Brother 1: So how is my cat doing?
Brother 2: He's Dead
Brother 1: He's Dead! What do you mean He's Dead! I loved that cat. Couldn't you think of a nicer way to tell me! I'm leaving in 3 days. You could of broke me to the news easier. You could of told me today that she got out of the house or something. Then when I called before I left you could of told me, Well, we found her but she is up on the roof and we're having trouble getting her down. Then when I call you from the airport you could of told me, The Fire Department was there and scared her off the roof and the cat died when it hit the ground.
Brother 2: I'm sorry...you're right...that was insensitive I won't let it happen again.
Brother 1: Alright, alright, forget about it. Anyway, how is Mom doing?
Brother 2: She's up on the roof and we're having trouble getting her down.

My son has always been a handful and I will admit it has been our fault. I had him at 18 yrs. old and had no clue what I was doing. I use to give in to him when he was younger just so he wouldn't cry. Well, now I have got a good grip on different parenting skills and have worked really hard at setting boundaries and enforcing consequences consistently. I am also sure to point on the positive and praise him. However, my son has some other issues to deal with and I'm not sure if some of these new behaviors are related and I don't know what consequences are the most effective. He has been diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome and so he has some vocal and motor tics...basically eye blinks and clears his throat constantly. He also has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and ADHD. Well, he has been so mouthy and argumentative...wants to have the last word. He is rude and disrespectful to authority. I've spanked, grounded and taken priveledges and still no desired results...please help us!

compressor? Say we use air, for simplicity and to avoid polluting. We use a large sealed cylinder (several meters wide?), and water is the piston. A wave swells up, it compresses air inside at the top. A relief valve lets the air out to a heat exchanger (submerged in ocean water, so it is both power source and heat sink.) Compressed air leaves heat exchanger cooler and goes through another heat exchanger in a space to be cooled. Air picks up heat and returns to bottom of the cylinder; it bubbles up through water to the top, to be compressed again. A poppet valve keeps water from flowing back into air tubing; the water forms a seal around the tube rising into the cylinder. This is similar to (unliquified) gas storage tanks.

We need chains/cables attached to a floating platform the system is built on, so that as tide rises and lowers daily, the throw of the piston (rise of the wave swell) stays about the same.

i am 7 months pregnant with baby # 2 and when he/she is born our first daughter will be 12 months and so we will need a double stroller. so i need advice on one that would fit in the back of our cars (my husband has a 98 dodge neon and i have a 04 pt cruiser, both that lack in trunk space) price is not so much the issue as long as its around $200 or less . any advice on a double stroller that folds up nice and compact?

I would like to know your story regarding neutering a dog, because I want to know the difference between the aggression level of a dog before and after he gets neutered.

They are both female. Cleo is upset. She will act curious and follow Schatze around but if she gets too close Cleo will hiss and swat at her. Of course we are giving Cleo lots of extra attention. I know Cleo needs time to get used to having another cat in the house. I was just curious on the average time it may take or if there is anything we can do to help the process along??

Let me start out by saying that I've been feeling weird all day. It's hot and I didn't sleep well last night and that always makes me feel weird...
But earlier tonight I had the sudden urge to just cry. I didn't, but all I wanted to do was cry. Don't know why, nothing sad, but whatever. Then all of a sudden I got really tired and really nervous and scared and a little shortness of breath. And now I'm really scared to go to sleep because I'm afraid I won't wake up.
What can I do? Is this a panic attack? How can I calm down so I can sleep? Please, please help me.

My girlfriend has the habit of constantly describing things in terms of chickens. For example, she often refers to my, "drum sticks," instead of my legs, and she makes many comments about, "dark meat" and, "light meat." Of course, she uses the words, "thigh" and, "breast," a lot too, but I'm not sure if that is chicken-related since they're such common words. Okay, I have the same 3 themed dreams on a very regular basis. 1)about tornados--bad bad tornados and I am always hiding and running. 2) my teeth are falling out ( I have very nice, healthy teeth though) 3) I need to run, (like running from tornados, or something bad. Not running for the fun of it.) but my legs are too heavy and I can barely walk, much less run.
What do these dreams mean?
