hi i am 36 and single going to be 37 on june 17 th ( having bit of birthday blues ) .....i never married because i never found the right woman and now i am bit set in my ways to contemplate marriage ... i am in a reasonably dead end job ..... in the accepted meaning of the term i am a failure . ... but i have kicked alcoholism 8 years back after a 6 year affair with the bottle .. i have overcome dire poverty to have an existence and have changed from being a wimp to having a rather pleasant personality ..... am i being too harsh on myself just because i do not have a wife and mandatory two and half kids and a dog ... and have not yet been able to accumulate assets like house , or started saving for retirement .......
does anyone know a good motivation , self help website ?
i believe like Rocky ... " it is not how hard you get hit and stand up which matters .. but how hard you can get hit and keep moving ..... " is that a good mantra to have ?

I got pulled over. I asked the officer why and he answered nothing personal..... Anyways, I called the sheriff's department and the tow yard and they both said there is a 30 day hold law. Which would make my total owed to the tow yard $1,420, which might be worth more than my car. I called and left a message for the Tow Hearing Officer, is there any specific things I should tell him? I am not sure why my license was suspended. My insurance lapsed because I am waiting for my disability. I had already paid my registration fees, I just need to get insurance and smogged. Catch 22, I can't get it smogged or get insurance while the car is in the tow yard. Any suggestions on what to do or what might be a loop hole?

I've told my Mom time and time again, that my Dad is cheating on her.
Yet, when she confronts him about it, he tells her that I'm lying to her.
Which I am so not.

And I can't like catch him in the act, because she's always working and has no time to like see.

My Mom and I have an awesome realtionship, besides the fact of my Dad.

So how do I make my Dad shut up and make my mom believe me?

I think most girls are plain and boring looking compared to me.

Okay, I know this sounds weird, but I was playing a board game and when I rolled the die, it fell off of the table and my dog ate it. Now I'm worried about how exactly it will come out of him and if it will hurt him. Are their anyways to possibly induce vomiting, or get the die out without hurting the dog too much? Thanks! Whenever I try and record audio on Adobe Audition, the sound skips. It's starting to get annoying now, because I have things that need to be finished.

If I have a track already on there, say a music track, it'll play fine, but when I try to record a second track, it stutters and skips all the time. It's been like this for about 2 months now...Also, when I try to play back said track 1 and 2, they skip. It only happens with recorded audio, though.

why am i having these horrible thoughts??? about killing my loved ones and the people i really care about? What am I? am i a murderer? i almost cry whenever i think of killing my loved ones, because i would never EVER do a thing like that... I am in love with this girl here in town. I did all the right things to get her attention. I sent a love letter written in squirrel's blood, I stood outside her bedroom window on a rainy night licking goat blood from a knife, I called her at all hours of the night breathing heavy but never actually saying anything,I even took pictures of her sleeping and then wall papered my home with them and she still wont date me. My friends all say I should wait 6 years til she turns 18 but they dont understand.
What do you suggest?
