My Doesn't Believe He's Cheating!!!?

Question

I've told my Mom time and time again, that my Dad is cheating on her.
Yet, when she confronts him about it, he tells her that I'm lying to her.
Which I am so not.

And I can't like catch him in the act, because she's always working and has no time to like see.

My Mom and I have an awesome realtionship, besides the fact of my Dad.

So how do I make my Dad shut up and make my mom believe me?

Honey, your mom doesn't really want to hear it from your dad because that will make it real.The best thing you can do is stop telling your mom anything.She already knows believe me,she knows you would not hurt her like that with a made up
story so let it go,he will get caught when she is ready
to face it. Your mom is hurting over this,she might be putting on a brave face for you,but I no she is dieing inside and every time you tell her the knife is going in deeper and deeper.
So for your mom's sake just let it go,I no it hurts you to see what your dad is doing to your mom but stop and really think how it is affecting your mother when she hears that her husband has been sleeping with another woman when she is working .Can you imagine how hard it must be for her to work knowing what he is doing at that time. I no you mean will and I'm sure your mom does to but let her find out when she is ready.

I'm sorry you are going through this and that your mom doesn't believe you but I'm thinking that she does know what is going on and is having a hard time accepting it. Keep being her friend and when she is ready to confront your dad, be there for her. It isn't easy accepting as fact when a spouse is unfaithful. It is called denial. It is natural. Don't make an enemy of your dad. You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. Be sweet and he'll make a mistake. If you have him on the defensive all the time, he won't make that fatal mistake.

You need to know your limits...and you have gone beyond yours. YOU ARE A CHILD AND THEY ARE YOUR PARENTS. The only say you have is in YOUR relationship to each of them and NOT IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO EACH OTHER.

It is never wise to confront or 'tell' on someone whom you 'think' is cheating. If you had seen it, was told by a first hand witness, then you could have a stand in telling your mom. At any rate, you told her your 'suspicions', so leave it alone. Once she is satisfied with his answer, you need to butt out.

It is HER husband, not yours. Stay in a child's place and let mom take care of herself.

What proof do you have that he is cheating?

Anything that you have ever seen could easily be photographed (in the future) - that's what cell phone cameras are for ;)

The only way to make your dad tell the truth (and hopefully stop cheating) is to show both of them some actual proof...

Maybe she doesn't want to know. Some say ignorance is bliss. It is unfortunate that you have to live with this. If he is cheating it will come out eventually in a way that she can't deny or she will decide that she doesn't care.

Take pics or video tape his actions and then show them to your mom.

you also might want to be sure that your mom really dosen't know. she is just not wanting to be alone so she is welling to put up things she may not normally put up with.

Honestly, you really should stay out of it, your parents are adults and it is their lives. You told them once, now forget it. If she chooses to believe him and he says you're lying, you have done your part. What happens to them is up to them.

Its not your place. I know you and your mom have a close relationship but that is their marriage not yours, and you really don't have a right to intrude. Sorry thats just the truth.
