The bible is just one book among many that claim to be "the way." It's not special because one can recite from it and say it's god's word. Anyone can quote from the Rig-Vedas, the Koran, or the legends of ancient Sumer and claim they are the true word of god. Numerous people claim they have spoken to god, some have been believed and some have been called insane. Do you have proof Jesus is the one, the only one, to believe? How do you anybody has talked to, or been sent by, god? How do you know god hasn't talked to or sent many messengers? How do you know god didn't send Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, and scores of others as a gift? Maybe they all carry his word so everyone can find their way to him/her/it.
Any bible quotes cited as proof of Christianity's being "the one true religion" will be duly ignored. Along with quotes being used in the same manner from other religious texts.

A 24 hour breakfast buffet. Wouldn't that be awesome? Especially in those after midnight hours when most of the customer are either drunk or high. I don't think Denny's has a breakfast buffet, but they should! Come on, Denny's! It's a no-brainer! Think of all the business you'd get! Don't you agree?

Use logarithmic differentiation to find dy/dx ,
y = (x^3) * (sin(x)^2) * (cos(x)^3)
* Here is my working :
y' = x^2 * sin(x) * (cos(x))^2 * (3*sin(x)(cos(x) - x(5*(sin(x))^2) - 2))

y'=-x^(2) * sin(x)(cos(x))^2 *(x*(5*(sin(x))^2-2)-3(sin(x)*cos(x))

Can someone double check my working and based on the key fron the teachers answer tell me how many marks I would get for it ?

the question about the cross necklace spurred this question. i am a jew and i constant wear my star of david necklace, not becuase i believe in god (i don't) and not because i feel the need to proclaim my religion to the world, but because i like it and i am proud of being a jew. what do you think when you see religious symbol necklaces? What's The Point?
What's the poing of living
When all you want to do is die?
When that part in your heart is missing.
How can you live knowing that, that void
Will never be filled again?
You hear peope trying to help you
They tell you to "stick it out"
How can you "stick it out"
When it makes you sick just the thought of
Losing all those precious memories?
It's more complicated then I can explain.
It's like an addiction that
Takes you through the stages of desperation.
It could never be the same,
It makes your life seem so lame.
Like you can't blame it on anyone, but yourself.

They are shaped in a V on the back of my tongue have been there for months now. They are very annoying but don't hurt. I have been to the doctor but they seem to think its thrush. I have taken this medication that you swish in your mouth and it hasn't helped. So if anyone has had this same experience and have any advice on how to make these bumps go away. Please help!!!! I've been studying Catholicism for a little over two years. If anyone asks my religion, I simply say "Catholic", because I find that I relate most to that religion.

I am VERY serious about converting (not because of marriage, or anything. I just relate most to it and want to be a part of it.)

The church nearest me is of small to medium attendence. (Roughly 100 people every Sunday)

I've called and left a message with the secretary, and I've also emailed the Parish. Still, it's been a long time, and nobody replies to me by phone or mail.

Any ideas? The next nearest Catholic church is about 20 miles away, and I wouldn't make it to their services. So it would feel odd converting there and going somewhere else.

I got a tattoo on my shoulder blade about a year ago. I though of every possible place on my body to get the tattoo, and the shoulder seemed the best aside from the lower belly. I decided against the lower belly area because I didn't want it to stretch when I have children. Last October my fiance proposed to me. As I was looking for wedding dresses I realized that I neglected to think of my tattoo showing on my wedding day.

I plan to wear my hair down and have a veil, but I fee like that may not cover it well enough. Though it is a nice, pretty tattoo that represents my number one priority, "Family" I don't really want that to be what people are talking about while I'm saying, "I do."

Any ideas? Is there any heavy-duty make-up out there?

With my first baby I didnt expect to breastfeed and then to the suprise of Me and even the lactation consultant I began to produce milk 7 days later. By then my son would only feed from a bottle so I pumped for about 3 weeks until I got discouraged and gave up. At the time I was only producing 1 oz total each pumping but I only pumped 3-4 times a day not enough. This time I want to do it right and be prepared. Any suggestions on increasing milk by birth time and after. Any one have same experiances?

The fact that the US military is bogged down in Iraq and (to a far lesser extent, Afghanistan) is true, but the fact is the US Military remains the best trained, most advanced, most lethal on earth. This is not just my opinion. Every year "Janes Intelligence", a highly respected British security publication, does a review on "world armies". The latest one in January 2007, said the following:

"Despite major setbacks in Iraq and to a lesser extent Afghanistan, The American military remains the best trained, most technologically advanced, and most effective overall military machine in the world".

Iran is ranked in the same publication as:

"The third biggest military in the Middle East, and the fourth most lethal". The publication puts it behind Israel, and Egypt in size, and Israel, Egypt and Jordan in "effectiveness".

Given these facts, should America launch a first strike against Iran's nuclear facilities.
