God sent Hagar and Ishmael into the deserts of Arabia when he was a small baby.

Gods plan was to protect the progeny of the first born from all invasions, disasters and
hellenization so that the Last Prophet would come from the land of Ke'dar.

God revealed his name to Abraham and Abraham taught Ishmael who thereafter taught all the Arabs.

The Name "Allah" was known in Arabia even before the coming of Prophet Mohammed.

Allah is the personal name of the Lord of Abraham which has been forgotten by the Israelites.


The MOST famous name for God in the OT is called the Sacred Tetragrammaton –It is YHWH.

Yahweh was changed into Jehovah by Christians -- Mark 12:29

Harpers Bible Dictionary says that the name JEHOVAH was "the result of the translators' ignorance of the Hebrew language and customs" (1985 edition , p. 1036)

Jehovah is a mistaken name of YHWH.

The Book "World Religions From Ancient History to the Present" says : "The name Jehovah is a medieval misreading and does not occur in the Hebrew Bible" (edited by Geoffrey Parrinder, p. 386)

The Interpreters Dictionary of the Bible says the name Jehovah is "an artificial name" (vol. 2, p.817)

Asimovs Guide to the Bible says that the name Jehovah "arose by mistake" (vol 1, p. 135). The author further says : "This mistake has persisted and will probably continue to persist" (p.135)

"When it came to God's name instead of putting the proper vowel signs around it, in most cases they put other vowel signs to remind the reader that he should say "Adonai". From this came the spelling Lehouah, and eventually Jehovah ...(pg. 8 ,Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, 1984)

"The truth is , nobody knows for sure how the name of God was originally pronounced". -(page 7- Watchtower Bible and Tract Soceity, 1984.)

The name Yahweh is derived from the statement God made to Moses in Exodus 3:14. Moses asked God as to what his name was and he got the reply -- "ehyeh esher ehyeh" .

The editors of the NEW JERUSALEM BIBLE explain this as : "The Hebrew can be translated literally 'I am what I am' , which would mean that GOD did not wish to reveal his name to them" (p. 85)

I find it strange that people who are always going on and on about how much they love and care about the human race are perfectly ok with their god tormenting the people they love for all eternity. (See the third answer.)
If you actually do care about people, wouldn't you ask god to show mercy no matter if the people are alive or dead? Why do you get off the hook once they are dead and say 'well, god's judgement, I'm not even going to ask him to be compassionate, too late'?
Torturing people for all eternity for crimes they commited in a finite lifetime seems incredibly unreasonable.

I'm specifically looking for the map as it is known in the King James Bible. The one in mine is zoomed so that the outer bordes are not shown. I want to see the whole area so that I can see the borders. All the King James Version on-line Bibles have text but I can't find one that shows maps? Or is the one in my King James Bible it?

The album Virgin Killers had 2 covers, the one I'm refering to is the very controversal one with a nude girl posed and cracked glass covering her.

There's been some debate about it with friends reccently so I want to know more about the model. She appears young, but what was her age at the time of the photo. If under 18 how were her parents able to give consent?

heyy guys im vicky im in 6th grade and i love hanging out with my friends shopping and soccer everything in my life was totally fine until my parents told me that my dad had to go to iraq for a WHOLE YEAR which meant no more daddy for a while and going all day all week all year living with the realization that the day I said good bye could be the last day I would see him ever again =[ i remember hugging him as hard and as long as i could holding back my tears but they all ended up coming out anyways .now its been a while since hes been gone the calendar all marked up till the day he came home . Hes home now , but others arent and with the fact of some one dying who is basically your world is the worst thing . so we GOT TO KEEP PRAYING that one day no one else will have to go through what my dad did . A lot of violence in towns and cities is fueled by alcohol, including domestic violence. People lose their jobs, homes, and relationships through alcoholism.

Yet there has never been, as far as I know, tabacco or cigarette fuelled violence, nor violence caused by 'binge smoking', nor any drink-smoke campaigns. So why the emphasis over smoking, when excess alcohol consumption is a bigger social problem?

..My life has been so miserable. I cry alot about things that happen in my life. I always wish to God that my life is full with happiness. I always wish and prayed I had my own home. Anyway to make long story short. a Year ago in April I had purchase a New Jersey Lottery ticket that was at 19 million dollars. The following day I went to th e Laudrymat and the ticket was damage completely(shredded). I knew that was the ticket I purchase in NJ on or about the 24th of April . At the time I didn't think to much of it .I just hoped that was not the winning ticket. than in april of 2007 I read an article in the STAR LEDGER Newspaer thaat an unclaim ticket worth 19 million was about to expire in 2 weeks. It says the ticket was purchase at the 24/7 Lukoil Mart where I purchase the ticket a year ago. My hard pounded!! When I read the article at work I was having an anxiety Attack that I left work early. I've been thinking about this so much that it's bothering me.I feel like killing
