What do you think was the greatest come back in Major League Baseball history? I think it was the Mother's Day miracle with the Red Sox, when they beat the Orioles by scoring 6 runs in the ninth. What do you think?

Well, the Mothers Day game wasnt the greatest come back ever but, it was a very nice Mothers Day gift to all of us mothers that are Red Sox fans!! I had a massive migraine that day and had to open my eyes when I heard the that the Orioles took their starter out of the game..As soon as they did, I knew we would win!! It was awesome!! But, as most others have said, the 2004 ALCS comeback was the greatest of all time!!!

It didn't occur in one game. It took 4. We all know the answer to this one. It is not Mother's Day with the BoSox. It was the 2004 ALCS. Taking 4 in a row off of New York is unheard of. In fact, it has only happened two other times in professional sports, both times in Hockey. Which is why the 2004 ALCS is the greatest comeback ever.

well... i'd have to say it's when the red sox came back from being down 3 games to the yankees to win the ALCS... i know it's not an individual game but it's still the greatest come back in MLB

1986 Mets. Sorry, looks like the Sox were on the receiving end of that one.
