If you think money is going to solve your problems, you're wrong. Money doesn't buy happiness. Something else must be going on in your life that is depressing you. You need to talk to a professional. Get that ticket out of your head. It's gone. I'm sorry but you can't bring it back. Seriously, please talk to someone.

It is very obvious that you are pleading for help. The lottery ticket is just a symbol for something much deeper. If it were not the lottery ticket then you would find some other physical object in which to manifest your feelings of hopelessness.
Unfortunately you have come to a venue that just can not help you. This site is at best entertainment but it is not a place to find solutions for troubled people such as yourself.
I would suggest you go see your family Doctor and tell him/her exactly what you have said here. The Doctor is trained to know who to refer you to for help.
I wish I could do more. Good luck and please see your Doc soon.

Staying off drugs and in college are good choices on your part. Living with people who complain all the time and rag on you is tough so spend more time trying to make friends. Colleges usually have a lot of clubs and activities where you can make friends. Sign up of intermural sports or other stuff you might find fun. College is great because there are so many choices. You are lucky to be in college. A lot of kids don't have that opportunity. Make the best of it. This is where you can start a career to doing something worthwhile. If you need a job to make some money, colleges usually have an employment office where you can pick up a casual job like helping somebody move or painting or even working a party... Playing video games is not going to help the situation. Books might be and good choice (Jack London, B. Traven, O. Henry, Pappillion) and better to get out of the house and meet people in person. Try to be positive, even with your Mom and Step Dad, because maybe you are complaining a lot and they are tired of your whining. Be good to your girl friend. Life will get better, and you have a lot of years ahead of you to enjoy. Sometimes a good physical workout can really help you get out of a funk. Try jogging or something similar. I hope this helps.

Sounds like you're miserable...to the point that you can't see the joyous moments in your life. The ticket is just another focus, it sounds like, to make yourself miserable. Can you comprehend the odds of it being you purchasin 'the' ticket? Not as large as winning but pretty high, considering the location and city you live in. If I were you, I'd get into counsling to find out the cause of your depression. Good luck,

Let's see, you say you wished to God for a happy life but then stake all of your happiness on a lottery ticket? If you are serious, then I suggest that you get some professional counseling immediately.

Look at it this way, atleast you didn't lose the things that you have. Getting the money was simply an addition to your happiness. Believe me, you could live without all that, after all, haven't you gotten this far in life, without the 19 million dollars. I try looking at life this way: whatever God does, is for the well-being of his followers.

yeah, that stinks, but all the time your worrying and thinking about the past and what could of been, Your missing life right now! all things happen for a reason, besides it really does suck winning the lottery! all kinds of people will call you and claim to be your relative, even though they're not, and the chances of you being robbed or murdered go up ALOT! so enjoy what you got in front of you and dont worry about what could of been.

to be brutally honest with you...it more than likely was not your ticket...people lose them all the time...it doesn't mean it was the winning one and if you did not see the article this wouldn't bother you. just move on and know...sometimes your the windshield...sometimes your the bug...scrape yourself off and move along...regret will only bring you down

Look at it this way, you were not the only person who bought a ticket that day in that store.
