well... im okay at the bass guitar and iv been playing for a little. So for the end of the year party ( im in 8th grade) at my school my band needs to play a song but i have no idea what to play. I dnt wanna play any cliches like smoke on the water or anything. sugestions????

i have had 3 miscarriages, one of which was an ectopic pregnancy, in less than a year. why is it that all i can think about is babies? my cousin is pregnant and im so jelous. what can i do to get my mind off of jealousy and babies etc?

Amonst the people that ask questions here, and contribute answers, there are many who are, as I am, nonbelievers. Too often here I come upon juvenile questions and juvenile replies which were meant to offend, about god and gods, Jesus, the particular aspects of Christianity and Islam. Is it because I am older than most of you that I question these steps away from manners and common decency? We all of us have experienced debates in regard to religious beliefs or, in my case, nonbelief. And debate is a healthy thing. But we are human beings first. Why speak loud-mouthy barroom sneery words of what's vital in the life of another human being--about Jesus, about his mother, about the figures, real or invented, who shaped Christianity and Islam? It is beneath an intelligent nonbeliever, or it certainly ought to be. Christians are defensive, with reason. Well, as I said, I am old (71) and perhaps, just perhaps, my view of the world and its present inhabitants is out of fashion.

my boyfriend and i have been trying to hvae a baby since april 20th...so i got off the pill april 20th, and i got my period april 23rd..and i got my period again, on time may 23rd...and we been having sex without birth controll for a month now,,,

so does this mean i am not pregnant??

if soo, why is it some people can hvae sex 1 time and get pregnant..and i hvae it alot, and never..

ok, this is the deal.. the car i was driving is my uncle's car, he lives in mexico and the adress the registration has no longer exists..... where can i go or how can i tell if a ticket is actually being issued???? and if there is no way of telling if, what happens if the ticket never gets paid?? thanks.. please a clear and discriptive answer... thanks

I mean seriously it seems like it is all a con to just get MORE tax money out of us.
And temprature variations aren't unusal and we don't know everything about them. The world has been here for billions of years and we have only been here for a very small fraction of that, it is impossible for us to truly understand it already. no matter how advanced methods become.
PLUS!!!:Hundreds probably even thosands of scientist really don't agree with the concept of global warming. But many of them won't or can't speak out against it because they are threatened will being fired from their job, or being killed. man, what the left wing will do to keep their theory.
Because thats all that global warming is, a theory. And a disproven one at that.

I have been Catholic for 10 years now, converting from Protestantism. I am having trouble believing the Doctrine of Original Sin although I accept it. Maybe I just don't understand it. St. Augustine's writings are difficult for me. I researched this in the Catechism but can't find much to help me.

Several weeks ago, my girlfriend and I broke up after almost two years together. Since I've moved back, she's called to stay in contact with me, but the calls were always about her and what she was doing. Then, a week ago, she went into the hospital (she's had prior health issues). At first, I was concerned and wanted to fly out there, but she said it'd be weird me being out there just to take care of her. I started distancing myself from her and guess what? Her attitude changed. I backed away and she called me several times to ensure I wasn't mad. Suddenly, she wanted to know what was going on in my life, how i was, etc.. We've talked alot since then, just like old times. And she even told me that she realized she can't live without me. I still love her and think maybe we can get back together, but I know she doesn't want that - she wants me in her life as her friend. But, I can't just be her friend. What do I do? What do I tell her? It's too hard for me just be friends with her.

My husband received a letter about having to pay child support for a daughter he has never met. She is 14 yrs old. we have 2 kids together and I have 1. It sounds like Bush is determined to fight al Qaeda overseas, but at the same time, is determined to let 40 million illegal immigrants take us over in our own cities and towns?

What is your take on this inconsistancy?


On top of illegals, we have islamic training camps to train ex-convict/converts-to-muslim in the U.S. that reporters can find but highly trained federal agents can't. These are the same agents who will supposedly enforce the new comprehensive immigration act.

I have to admit lately I have become pretty rude, but he hit me before. When I say nothing anyone could ever do deserves violence or intimidation, he just gets madder. I have hit him back, but not every time.
Honestly, what kind of things deserve a violent reaction?
Asking the same question 3 times because "I don't care" isn't an answer to me, so I get screamed at for asking the same question? Then it escalates from there, and I get intimidated, screamed and cussed at then pushed, to fall and hit my head on the dresser before the ground. and my stuff thrown around, and threatened?
Couples know how to push eachother's buttons, but does button pushing or being a *#@!% warrant violence, threats or intimidation?
I know I should leave, long story, I owe $6000 that is partly his debt too, and not only will he not pay a cent of it if I leave, he keeps EVERYTHING the 'debt' paid for and I have to pay half rent until lease is up.
