well... im okay at the bass guitar and iv been playing for a little. So for the end of the year party ( im in 8th grade) at my school my band needs to play a song but i have no idea what to play. I dnt wanna play any cliches like smoke on the water or anything. sugestions????

How can you pass up on "School's Out For Summer"?
The thing about cliche's is that everybody recognizes them. If you want instant audience response go with a cliche. Let them know you know your roots! "Smoke on the Water" wouldn't be bad either! (If you guys do it well.)

Well you may not know this song, but I say check out "Young Man's Stride" by Mercury Rev. That song will keep the kids Rockin' all the way through!
Or possibly a simple Vaselines song.

dude, play a primus"Antipop" or a tool"46&2" song......show off your bass skills as well as skills of the drummer
