Has been sick and out of work and lose all coverage he has

Had been sick for some year ,but was still try to work and support his family . Things got to be harder for him to keep working and money got low and all coverage he had was lost .He just had found something he could do that he love the job of his dream ,when his sickness took him .Out side help to go with the balance

Try the VA. [I think you can do that online at va.gov]
With the proper discharge papers, he should be authorized a flag and a grave marker, and possibly a site at a National Cemetary.

If he has been honorably discharged you should be able to contact the VA, they might be able to do something. It's at least a start in resources. On base there is also a resource center called Family Services or Family Readiness (on Reserve/Guard bases) so you might be able too check with them for information referral.

Having worked information referral part of Family Readiness myself, there are hundreds of organizations that one can pool together if other funding isn't available, but the VA is a best start.

Contact the local VSO. Sorry Veteran Service Officer. Every town or city should have one. Most likely at the Town Hall. If you dont have one of those contact the local Veterans Administration for guidance.
