The camera's take front and back pictures, your mug is on the front picture, the ticket will be sent to the registered owner at the address provided on the registration. if the address is no good as you say, the bail on the ticket will be sent to the DMV where it will have to be paid before the car's registration will be renewed. your uncle in the mean time will have a bench warrant on him for failure to appear in court for the summons. he can get out of this because the picture of the driver is not him, but you.

If the ticket doesn't get paid, then the license number gets entered into a DMV database that's accessible by the police. So if you (or your uncle, if/when he comes back across the border) get pulled over for something else while driving the car, then this will pop up when they run your plates. The only way you'll ever see a ticket in the mail is if there was a forwarding address, which evidently there isn't. If you want to go to the local police precinct in that area (Upland) they will be able to give you a duplicate copy of the ticket so that you can pay it. Pay it so your uncle doesn't get stuck with it later.
Hope this info helped.

My hubby got one of those here in Viginia Beach. The owner has to sign an affidavit saying they wern't driving and who was. Then you can pay the ticket. Your uncle will have to sgin the affidavit or it will go on his DMV file. They are not going to just take your word that you were driving not your uncle. By the way VA ha a online prepay for tickets where you can look them up by the persons name and see if the have been paid, it's part of the freedom of information act CA should have something like that for you to check.

Call the city of Upland. But that gives you away. Wait to see if the Mexico address gets it.
